Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Yeah, the nose fits very tight between the fenders without paint. I can't see how you could install it after paint. Not without scratching it anyway. I paint mine as an assembly. On the Blitzer Beetle body (maybe SS body as well), there was an odd recess above the front fenders (ahead of the gas doo...

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
Well, I guess it could be. This body has bounced around a lot lately. P1010904.JPG The BB was converted to a Stadium Blitzer a couple months back and the BB body has landed on a custom DT-02 chassis. P1010924.JPG ... for now anyway. :D That was it! I thought I had read about the Holiday Buggy, or t...

Re: “aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan
Still, if one had some spare coin, it might be kinda cool to build an RC10 entirely from aftermarket parts. Out of curiosity, I added a ton of fan RC parts into my cart to see what price you could build an “new” RC10 for. With the majority of the stuff you need but still a ton of stuff missing, it ...

Re: kyosho ZX5 is back- sort of
I was asleep through the Lazer years so I missed this one.
Early reports say that pricing will be reasonable so I'm considering adding this one to the collection.
Actually, it would probably go onto the stack of unbuilt kits but whatever.

Re: “aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan
Reproducing an item doesn't make it a counterfeit. If it did Wal-Mart wouldn't have anything to sell. Regarding XLR8's curiosity, these chassis' have been for sale for a while, they come and go every couple months. Accounts always short lived, disappear, new ones pop back up. Price seems higher thi...

Re: “aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan
I find nothing wrong with offering replacement parts.
If they are made using tooling that AE owns and without their permission, then obviously that's a problem.

If it's this one you were thinking about,
... feel free to "borrow" the livery.
It wasn't my idea anyway.

“aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan
Sorry if this has already been discussed. I watch this site closely and haven't seen it mentioned but it's possible that I've somehow missed it. I’ve recently noticed these popping up on ebay – around the time AE announced the 40th. Maybe these have been available for a while? I search ebay daily bu...

Re: Legendary series Optima Pro
Hmmm, I saw this posted on TC yesterday. I'd like to add one to the collection but first I want to do a little research to determine how this model differs from other Optimas. Apart from the body and undertray, is there anything new here? the original pro moved the servo back behind the battery and...

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
The driver base looks fantastic! Well done!!
Yeah, I'm really not a fan of the full window stickers. I can never get them to set correctly.
If I use them, I'll go back and cut next to the faux weatherstrip and remove the clear portion.
