B4 rears work on t2 cvd/universal?

Anyone know off top of their head or have one handy to do a quick wheel check?

B4/B4.1 buggy rear wheel onto t2 cvd fit decent?

Don't really care about offset unless it makes contact with the shock. Just wanna know if I can slap a b4 wheel onto a t2 and it work.

edit: or do they make them for the b2/b3 too?

Not sure about the OP's T2s, but mine has the 3/16" universals on it.
My JC Rears from my 94ce didn't fit. Fronts worked like a charm.

Re: RC10T2, I know it's a truck but wait!

Any progress? I've got the same thoughts. I'm thinking of retiring my gold pan and turning my T2 into a long wheelbase buggy since the transmission parts (out drives) are still available. I might just slap a wing on it, some 2.2 buggy wheels, a Viper body, and call it a day. My only issue at the mom...

Re: 2.2 buggy wheels for a 1/4" t2 universal? Losi wheels?

I'm more of a BBRC member being about 45 mins EAST of Knoxville, but I try to get to a race or two every year. Really nice new facility near the Knoxville Zoo at Chilhowee Park just opened this past weekend. I race mainly at RunAMuck in Newport and the Jolly Roger in Dandridge. No ROAR rules, just f...

Re: 2.2 buggy wheels for a 1/4" t2 universal? Losi wheels?

I may be better served to just switch out the bearings and change over to 3/16" universals in the long run since I already have so many wheel sets for the buggies.

Probably be about $45 to change them over. Momma won't go for that anytime soon. :(

Bummer :(

2.2 buggy wheels for a 1/4" t2 universal? Losi wheels??

The standard JC Racing 5 spokes for the buggies don't quite fit over a t2 universal axle. Fronts work great on the t2 steering axles though... I saw a couple of posts on the 1/4" axle and using a 1/4" countersink and that there USED to be Losi wheels made that fit the associated 1/4 rear d...

Re: My "new" RC10..Help Please

Bah, it's not heresy.....I consider it awesomeness.....if it is a RUNNER. I don't recommend doing that with a shelf queen...but getting a 20+yr old buggy to do rip a wheelie on demand is cool.... It's also really cool to slap a 3s in there and get it over 60mph. But the best coolness is taking it to...

Re: B4 Transmission in Gold Pan

I'm surprised that yours is louder than a B4? My rig is one of the most quiet on the track with 2.25 stealth/b4 topshaft V2 slipper. I'm running boca bearings throughout, nothing special. The only real difference is I run the ceramic balls in the diff (but not on the thrust). I DID notice that mine ...

Re: Cadillac Gold Pan at work....

Motor plate matches the pan. The guy knows NOTHING about RC cars other than he bought his 12yr old son an HPI Blitz to bash around the house with. Someone gave this to him and his son and he brought it in to me because, "It goes full blast forward when we turn it on, can you see what's up with ...

Cadillac Gold Pan at work....

So I'm sitting at my desk today, doing my thing...one of the guys comes in and drops this on my desk and says, "Hey, do you know anything about this thing? You like those RC cars, right?" It appears that it is an A-stamp Cadillac 6-gear, looks to be all original except front wheels/tires. ...

Re: RC10 Stealth Slipper question

I like running a B4 assembly because there are so many B4s in our club and we can mix/match our spurs for testing.
Parts are carried at the LHS.

Re: How to keep rear wing on?

Another option that a lot of the guys use on their runners is to eliminate the tubes/wires altogether. Get a set of the B4 wing mounts and mount them to the shock tower. I space mine back just a little by using some old ballcups, minus the cups, as spacers. I trim my body at the rear shock tower so ...
