Re: Anyone know who made this Nissan Hardbody?

Although similar, the original King Cab body never had rear fender flares that size or the roll bar molded in behind the cab. Using my Google skills, I found that it's a McAllister Nissan King Cab body: https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=102489&sid=22001 I love the RC10Talk wheel...

Anyone know who made this Nissan Hardbody?

Hi all!
It's been a looooong time since I've posted here. Looking to see if anyone knows who made this body and if it's still available anywhere for a build.

I saw that car when Jim first raced it in Joliet. Wicked fast car with him at the wheel.

Re: Wider suspension arms

No it would not be the same. It would be more flexible. The longer arms are the same profile and shape, just stretched. To make them more rigid they'd need to be thicker. Sorry, Fred. I just re-read my post and I didn't type what I meant. If you 3D printed a stock arm (not stretched), would it be c...

Re: Wider suspension arms

How about from a non-dimensional standpoint though? If you were to 3D print a stock a-arm (not any longer) replica, would the structural strength and rigidity be the same? I'm just wondering if the 3D printing process of Nylon makes the part any weaker given the same dimensions. If they are similar ...

Re: Wider suspension arms

I know that you can print Nylon and other materials, but does the layered printing process still have the same durability as injection molded Nylon? Looks interesting. I'd like to see a car with the longer stock looking arms on it to see how much it changes the stance of the car.

Re: VRC Pro Review - Game Play

I just got done yesterday doing the weekly race at Mike's 1. Finished in the bottom end of the 3rd heat which I guess is decent for not having raced anything on a real track in 20 years or so.

Re: VRC Pro Review - Game Play

Anyone playing this yet? I'm not sure how it was originally released, but you can play it for free with a basic set of tracks and spec vehicles which is all I'm using. I'm running Spec Shortcourse and have purchased a couple tracks only. With the exception of buying the receiver USB adapter ($13), t...

Re: Support your local hobby store...for this??

My local shop is a HobbyTown with a bunch of a-hole kids working there. Everything they sell is obscenely overpriced. If they were to disappear, it wouldn't hurt me any. If I were closer to a real hobby shop it would be a different story.
