Re: Can Lipo batteries freeze?
Lipo's need to be stored in a climate controled environment. If you put them in a cold garage just toss them in the garbage instead as you'll be buying new ones anyway. You WILL riun them. Lipos need to be stored around 7.4 not 50%, in order to keep them working properly. You can confirm this by goi...

Re: Price check, isle 10...
FWIW I just bought a NIB Rc10 6010 for $385 a couple weeks ago. Not too long ago I saw them go for $900 on e-bay. Right now in today's market you are looking at @500+ I would think. I know I would be interested in it as it has been a good time for NIB kits and I've been re-evaluating my vintage coll...

Re: RC10 6010 NIB Cadillac
I was thinking maybe I'll paint up the body and shelf it. Then try to find a new build for display. For some reason I just don't know if I can pull myself to build it. I really envy those that have NIB kits. I'm hoping one day ALL of my collection is NIB kits with either box art or driver replica's....

Re: New Losi 22!
The 22 is maximum ROAR length. Even though its a longer wheel base it looks like it turns on a dime when I watch them at our local track. Evans and Chambers really have them setup well already and are continuing to develop thier setups so they will only get faster

Re: New Losi 22!
konich.....why do you consider the b4 4th best? i thought the 4.1 fact team fixed everything(mostly locking in the rear)......i ask because since the 22 is so hot, i'm gonna scoop up a barely used b4.1. is this your personal rating?? 1)losi 22 2)kyosho 3)tq 4) b4 At our track we have a number of sp...

RC10 6010 NIB Cadillac
Scored this the other day. I've had a lot of RC10's but have never hung onto them for that long. I guess I have always been looking for one new in the box and I felt I got this one at a good price. I will probably paint the body as a box art replica or a Jay Halsey replica (Might need to get a hold ...

Konich's Garage (literally)
Not as big as collection as most but all my cars are pretty much mint. I showed my wife some of your setups and I don't think I'll hear anything about my nerd toys for a while  Car #1 6010 RC10 New in the box. Going to paint up a Jay Halsey or box art replica for the shell. Probably won't assem...

Re: JConcepts 1/10th scale ball cups
I ran them on both my B44 and by B4. One of the associated team drivers game me them as he didn't like them on his setup. I ran them ever since on those cars as it seemed to keep the tire camber from changing over the course of the suspension travel. If I was running an associated car I'd definitely...

Re: New Losi 22!
Dustin Evans and Matt Chambers home track is where I race (MHOR RC her ein Denver) and thier 22's are quick, jump well, and look to handle really well. Big bores make a HUGE difference, I have them on my Cougar and its brought suspension tuning up to another level. Pretty soon big bores will be on a...

Re: Venom Lipo
The problem with that is most people are idiots when it comes to Lipo's and blame everyone but themselves. Lipo's need to be kept in a temperature controlled environment, stored around 7.6-7.8v, and kept in balance. I only balance my batteries once a month and they are never that far out of balance....

Re: Venom Lipo
Venom have came a long way. I've used Orion, Racer's Edge, Max Amps, IPC, etc. and like the Venoms. They seem to stay in balance better than others. I don't know if it matters but only 2 companies produce lipo batteries that supply the industry but I'm guessing just like "matched" packs ba...

Re: Venom Lipo
Don't skimp on lipo's IMHO. I run Venom and they have been great. Other cheap lipo's can turn your car into a rolling toaster.

Re: Topcat project.
The Cougar SV rear arms also are swept up at the hub and hing pin mount as well. Not being level may pose a problem for you if you go that route as well.

We turn 13-14 second laps at our track. So picking up a 1/2 - 1 second a lap will add up. Here is our track, smooth and fast.
