Really interesting reading that Dirt & Track magazine article from 1989 Offroad worlds. There was some new information from that race.

Highest that I have seen are 15x7 from HPI UNO and ABC M&Y (with nice "twisted" winding) motors:

Re: LRP "E" series? Anyone has windings data?
From here You can see something: LRP Winds.jpg Since motors are listed about from "hottest" to "mildest" Black E is about 12-turn, Blue E about 15-16 turn and Bee D 12x3 IIRC. is the motor single, double, triple or quad can be seen if You open the endbell and look winding that go...

Really well documented build! But why oh why did they "copy" slotted screws also from Schumacher???

Re: A comprehensive history of Ko Propo EX1 (1982-2002)
Showing it signed in '99... so it should be on the market since earlier than that. Hence it isn't an EX-1 otherwise it'd be part of the "history" article above. I don't think it's a design that was available in '89 either, looks too modern, AND Jack Johnson wouldn't still be using one in ...

Re: Associated Guy Restoring Vintage Losi Buggies
Just put sandpaper around peace of wood block or something like that and You have the right tool to finish the job. The plastic that Losi used in LRM transmission case will is easy to work with and the finish surface is just like the other sides.
