I am happy to report that the Novak NEC-1 charger that I currently own is in like brand new condition and works perfectly, having charged 6 different NiCAD packs this Halloween weekend and monitoring the voltage with a separate volt...

Re: NOVAK NEC-1 Constant Current Temperature Charger
I'm looking to see if anyone can provide me with a few pictures of the instruction manual, or maybe a scanned pdf file of it.
I've come into owning one, but do not have the instructions and would like to try using it with some nicads.
thanks in advance.

Re: Have you noticed...
I do believe the reason for the two holes in the motor plates backside is for tooling, to hold it in the jig while the press comes down to create the two bends. Basically the two holes were for dowels to hold the plate firmly while the press comes down and bends the motor plate at 90 degrees and als...

Re: Have ever noticed...
Windows were only removed for the Box art body to give it a realistic look for the photoshoot. That car may have never been run from what we know. But leaving the windows intact (uncut) gives the RC10 the best aerodynamic flow for running, and is what most every racer did.

Re: Anyone just leave the bodies clear
I paint all of mine, Im down to my last clear no-stamp RC10, just until I come up with another cool era correct paint scheme. I don't like seeing them clear at all, but that's just me.

Re: Ruf's Room
I have had this one new original A-Stamp RC10 for nearly 15 yrs now, and it never had a body on it. So around 10 yrs ago I received a lot-buy where I got two red bodies. One had small yellow stripes, the other 100% red with 3 stickers on it. These have been just sitting in a box until this past Wedn...

Re: 1990 Florida State Championships 2wd stock A-Main race video
Oh it was! Even being 30 yrs ago, I still remember the track was like running on ice after only 2 or 3 laps in the main, it really dried out and the loose sand on top made it super slick with the tires and compounds we had back then.

Hahaha! Those legs close to the camera are from Dave Harrison, he was wheelchair bound and a very fast racer.

Re: 1989 Florida State Race video
They were unlabeled hand out motors. I think we were allowed to buy 2 more for 3 max, (one motor came with the registration to the stock class) and had to run one of the 3 provided. They were normally engraved with a number and logo, so that during inspection you had to have one of the motors you pu...
