Saw it on FaceBook, thought it was a good reason to come make my yearly 10talk post!

Kind of a special project I’ve had in mind for 15 years or so, I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m curious who is doing the best early 90’s masami paint and graphics these days?

Have a couple cars worth of anodizing I wanted to get done (strip and re do on some parts), is there anyone that can recommend a place that does decent work reliably at a fair price?

I think this is an RPM setup but not sure on the double deck chassis? Is it desireable?

I never paid much attention to the conversion kit cars or aftermarket chassis

Curious if anyone’s done much in the way of polishing/sanding the scuffs off later plastic tubs? Like starting around a 400 grit wet paper and working finer?

I was hoping for something ready to go but a little larger than 3/16 OD just to save the operation of center drilling each one (I have a lathe too)

I’ll just make them out of .250 stock.

Looked at my usual sources and didn’t see anything at McMaster or K&S but I’m looking for some aluminum tubing about 7/32-1/4” OD with about a 1/16” ID (needs to be under .080”)

Anyone have a source/link?

Acetone worked a treat! I used a small piece of cloth about the same size as the Ca spot. Wet it and laid iron top. Softened right up.

I’ll experiment today. Why anyone would glue down electronics is beyond me.

Recently got a carbon chassis that someone super glued some components to. Chassis is otherwise mint and I’d like to keep it as such, sans the super glue. Any sure fire methods for removal?

Reggie got angry and left, took all his pics and posts with him. He is on Facebook but doesn’t really post anything RC anymore Jay is active on Facebook in the RC groups. I think he still checks in here once in a while. What did Reggie get upset over? I was looking at pics on my drive of the Yokomo...

No particular reason, just curiosity.

Maybe a hornet or something. Last T kit I did was a grass hopper about 9 years ago with my oldest son when he was ten. This one is only six but loves the workbench and is way more mechanically inclined than his brother.

So I was looking at getting myself and my son a tamiya kit to build for Christmas, but it most basic kits are out of stock just about everywhere. What gives?!?
