Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....

They're celebrating 40 years, so some kind of short arm car was almost a given. What comes next is the real question. I really hope its not a clear version of the world's car. One clear car kit is enough. Another past driver version would be cool, halsey, even a cliff lett version with fluoro red c...

Re: What was your first RC experience?

From what I remember, it must have been late '87 or early '88, I was still in elementary school and my dad let me drive his fairly new tamiya blackfoot with a futaba magnum sport radio in the backyard. It was my first time driving anything rc. He taped a small block of plastic behind the trigger to ...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....

I don’t think thing the final price of $400 is that far off…considering all the special production and materials. The JJ Ultima is right there too at that $390. I felt $319 was about right for the rc10cc since it was being advertised as just a display piece. If they wanted $400 for a rere rc10 kit ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2023 ** - Winner - jcwrks

I like that grave digger body on Brayduns gt. I had that body in the 90's on an MT converted rc10 with lunchbox wheel/tires/adapters that got served some major thrashing bitd. Otherwise for me it had to be jcwrks' rc10. That car has pretty much every part I remember drooling over as a teen when I us...

Re: My Kyosho Javelin

I love the javelin and yours looks great! I have a rere optima I'm also currently building up to be a javelin runner. I noticed you have all the gold metal parts, did you start with a rere turbo optima and convert it?

Reedy non-rebuildable 24* stock motor timeline?

I ran stock truck the most in the early to mid 90's and just for kicks I was trying to remember which 24*, 27-turn, NON-rebuildable stock motors Reedy stuck their labels on and what year they came out. I think this is all of them, If you guys remember when they were released, or have any pics of you...

Re: Aftermarket Kyosho hop-up parts

I can vouch for the EXO parts. The chassis kit and cva axles are great. Even the turnbuckles are great for the price. Im in the US and ordered directly from their site and the parts arrived in a little less than 2 weeks. The cva are rebuildable and a direct replacement for the stock parts and the ch...

Kyosho Optima Mid Re-Re w/ Exo LWB chassis The Optima Mid series of cars meant a lot to me since they were the ones that I dreamed about throughout the late 80's but was never able to put one in my own stable. Then the rc10t came out and I just focused on racing a rc10 and 10t. Fast forward to 2022 ...

Good win dinglem! I'm glad I was able to participate in the BOTM this month. This is easily one of my favorite sections to view here on 10talk. Always so much creativity and so many nice builds/restorations to showcase! 8)

That is one of the nicest 'swiss cheese' saves I have seen.
Thanks! It was an idea I had that helped motivate me to put the truck back together and give it new life.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - July 2023 ** - Winner - dinglem

RC10T 17.5 runner "M.I.P." This truck started out as a mid run 10t ebay junker I picked up about 15 years ago initially to salvage it for the plastic parts. The left over nose plate, nose tubes, and chassis were all bent. When covid hit I decided to do something with the left over chassis ...
