Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2
Yeah that's the best I have been able to do as well, print off Rights and Lefts so the rough side always faces the spring. Thanks for getting back Amazing what we can do now. This 3d printing would sound like science fiction back when I had my first JRX2.

Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2
Those look great! I'm having a hard time with the bottom side of my prints. I've only had the printer since December. I would be interested to know how you're printing those and what type of printer you're using. I'm printing with a Prusa MK3s+ FDM printer.

Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2
Just stumbled across this thread, figured I'd update it after 14 years. I own this car now, lucked into buying it a number of years ago. It lost a few decals over the years, I added a couple new ones of my own. Has some minor oxidation on the battery braids and solder. Other than that, she's still i...

Second vote for MCI Racing, they are excellent quality and you can even change the colors around on the web site when ordering them.

Re: novak timeline
Did anyone re-host this? I saved it all when I heard Novak was shutting down. It's unavailable now. Anyone need the info to hose it for the community?

Re: NIB Sealed Original 1989 JRX2 Build Thread
Been a while, I've collected quite a few more goodies for this one, but I still haven't opened up a single parts bag. Have a complete NIP hydradrive, New JR's Choice motor, Novak 410M5 that might be new but not sure, brand new in box Futaba Magnum radio, everything I need to make it a full runner. E...

Re: JRXS-R JRXS Type R Box Art Wheels
Yes, thanks for asking, best I can tell they are Parma Pro-53 wheels and trued foams. I finally found 4 of them a while ago and they are mounted up and I'm happy.

Any tips for preserving foam onroad tires?
Finally found the "right" tires for my losI jrxs type r shelfer. They're proline pro-53 foams which have a slightly oversized wheel coupled with a low profile foam tire. These seem fairly hard to find any more so I would like to do whatever I can to keep them in good condition. Anyone have...

Re: JRXS-R JRXS Type R Box Art Wheels
I believe the wheels in the stock 'box art' photos are Parma Pro-53 series mounted and trued foams. I have one pair in hand, looking for a second pair, so if anyone has a line on a set, please let me know. Compound does not matter, as this will be for display only. A couple part numbers I have found...

Re: Not sure if it was me or the old motor
If he had it set up for carpet racing, and you ran in in the back yard, I'm assuming on grass, what probably happened is that you overloaded the motor since it was likely geared for low-load onroad racing. For off road, and especially for running through grass, you will need a smaller pinion / large...
