Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

Hello my friends on the best RC forum on the planet. It's been a while. I just published these Quadra-symmetric arms on Printables.com for everyone to print with their own 3d-printers. You don't even need to log in to Printables.com to be able to download my CAD files. If you do log in - would be ni...

Re: RC10 buggy with long RPM arms

Hello,
I don't think RPM #80492's are long enough for RC10T/GT use...?

Re: RC12L runner

Motor cable routing looks perfect for that small rear pod. Project looks great!

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

Hey, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I haven't shared any of my 3d-models. Sharing 3d's would be cool if making a design would take like half an hour. Usually it takes a lot of time and many iterations. Also a single part have embedded design information in it. It's not just a part. It's what ...

This is now my setup for astroturf: -NIX63231 MJF-bulkhead made by i.materialise.com -ASC9826 gearbox -B6 Gear Diff -CustomWorks 3241 rear hubs (It's like RPM '91 conversion hub) -Stock rere-RC10 Worlds axles, bones and spacers. -Stock rere-RC10 Worlds arms and inner mounts -Stock rere-RC10 Worlds r...

Re: How to mount B4 transmission on RC10?

NIX63231 + B4.x gearbox + B6 gear diff.
If needed, you can easily shim the gearbox up to get diff gear just above chassis. Or make a small groove to chassis.

Re: How to mount B4 transmission on RC10?

With the first bulkhead (white SLS + ASC9574 case) I removed the lower section of transmission with a Dremel sanding drum. Easy. With the second bulkhead (grey MJF + ASC9826 case) I tried a flat head cutter. Even easier. TomiS will get the SLS bulkhead to his car and I will upgrade mine with the MJF...

I think from B4.1 to B6 gear diff main dimensions stays the same.

RC10 with gear diff

Hello All, By replacing RC10 stock bulkhead with NIX63231 bulkhead, you'll be able to mount RC10B4 transmission to your RC10 tub or carbon chassis. You don't even need RC10 Stealth transmission holes as this one mounts to stock bulkhead holes and rear holes of classic 6-gear transmission. There's no...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

Lower deck area is 262 cm2 and upper deck is 67 cm2.
Carbon fibre sheet density varies, but lets assume it's around 1.6 g/cm3.
With 2.5mm lower deck thickness, weight would be 105g.
With 2.0mm upper deck thickness, weight would be 22g.
You can tweak further from here...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

This chassis is not in any way "Quadra specific". It will work with any arms that suits 10T nose setup. Chassis lower deck number is NIX63057 and upper deck is NIX63058. I will send the drawings to GoMachV. 4pcs 1" standoffs and one upper deck front end mounting part needed to complet...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

How about wheelbase?
I started designing with tub chassis lenght, wheelbase is 268mm, when nose is mounted in it's shortest position. This might be the shortest setup you can still fit a standard size 2S in.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10

I can make a design and drawing, but finding a maker for CF chassis can be tricky. Depends on the design. Did you have in mind a 10T nose plate chassis with flat CF mid/rear section or a complete CF chassis with kickup nose and all?
