Re: Question about transmission internals
I believe the 2.4 CW trans used B2/B3/T3 internals and the 2.6 used B4/T4.

Re: beginner information on 1/12 rc12e/i/l tires
Sorry...I know TM Racing has been producing pan car wheels since the mid 90s, but I don't know if they've changed their wheel sizes over the years. :? With 1/10 drag cars you'll sometimes see them use 1/12 scale wheels with taller foams that have been trued to a 1/10 scale OD. That's what those TM f...

Are you asking if the ID between 12th and 10th scale foam donuts are the same? If so than no.JosephS wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 3:17 pm Are all of the inner diameters the same on the foam?
I see this as an option

Re: beginner information on 1/12 rc12e/i/l tires
What are the sizes of 1/12 vs 1/10 wheels? 1/12 rims are ~1.36" tall x 1"(f) or 1.5"(r) wide 1/10 rims are 1.8" to 2.0" tall x 1"(f) or 1.5" to 2"(r) wide How are foam donuts sized? Foam OD are trued to the roll out you want. Would modern 1/12 front tires wor...

Aging wheels is another enjoyable channel, the guy is just too quirky and funny not to watch. Aging Wheels is fun because Robert isn't a diehard grease monkey. He's a dweeb software programmer, that's enthusiastic about weird/electric cars, and not afraid to learn new skills as he goes. Very ...

The top one isn't a Cougar 2000? I know very little about Schueys but my understanding was there were a few iterations....the 1st one might be a 1993 spec, and the 2nd one could be a '95 spec Cougar 2000.

Look like longer AE truck turnbuckles that have been cut down and re-threaded.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 8:25 am The turnbuckles with the adjustment flats at the end are interesting. I haven't seen that before. Anyone know who made those?

Here ya go...MarkyDents has MM wheel dimensions posted here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=521900#p521900
They're the 3 slot version (A10-F3S & R3S) but dimensions should be the same.

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
@Phin, to make certain I'm understanding the dimensions completely: The front wheels are 1.7" diameter/no-hub/RC10 bearings - the rear wheels are 1.6" diameter/no-hub/RC10 bearings. Would you happen to know the width of the front and rear wheels, also? I need to be able to tell the CNC ma...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
After looking at pictures and reading numerous posts, here’s my best estimate on the wheels: Rear - 1.5” OD, 1.3” Width, 0.15” Negative Offset, Foam Tires Front - 1.5” OD, 0.7” Width, 0.19” Negative Offset, Foam Tires with 4 grooves Does this seem reasonable? Hopefully I calculated the offset corre...
