Big bore shocks

Hey guys, I’m setting up an RC10 to run at my local Clay track. I plan on putting some big bore shocks on it that I took off of a B5m. I’m looking for some basic set up Tips since I know several of you guys have run big bore shocks on your RC10s. What weight shock oil front and rear is a good starti...

Re: Thorp Dirt Burners Losi JRX2 LRM Gears

I was one of those dummies who thought the diff in the Jrx2 was a slipper and melted the stock gears. I ran this Thorp set which allowed me to continue my dummy ways!😄 As a young teen, I didn’t know any better. Cool stuff but never understood the need, unless someone was running insane power on a hi...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2021 ** - Winner - Brocklee

Here is a car I build completely based on the color scheme of a body I already had. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Re: Built for the Shelf Versus built to Run

Most of my builds are shelfers. All of my cars could technically be run but sometimes they’re not set up to run well. For example, I just built an RC10 with vintage Proline “hard” 2.2 rear tires. I bought some current Schumacher spike front tires designed for carpet just because they looked the part...

Re: Orangemazda’s RC10CE 1.5 build

The chassis is powder coated a color that I found as close to the original gold as I could. The chassis, transmission, and rear bulkhead are Team Associated T2 truck parts that have been modified. The noseplate and suspension are standard RC10 parts. The rear shock tower is custom for this applicati...

Orangemazda’s RC10CE 1.5 build

Hey guys, I’ve seen some cool T2 based buggy builds including Scr8p’s RC10 1.5 builds. I thought it would be cool to build a car as if Associated had designed the RC10 championship edition 1.5 version. So here it is. . 4339B740-6B4B-4FC6-85AF-AA28AA949437.jpeg E7314660-77A9-415D-961B-B2FCA77A40AD.jp...

Re: Hello from WA

Welcome! What part of WA are you from? I’m from WA and raced in those years as well. Maybe we’ve raced each other!
