Re: Barn find rc10gt?

#7050 RC10GT Basic Sport Truck I think 🤔 possible. When we had the LHS he knew I liked the white parts and he had a newish all white parts black pan and he did NOT like white parts so he paid me to change them all to black...which I was happy to do 8) so like you said it should be that model but no...

Re: Barn find rc10gt?

Not sure of number off the top of my head. Probably four different numbers it could be, but yes, a basic sport model. If that engine is original which I would guess it is, then it's the pull-start-with-engine version, whichever number that was. The white towers are probably original. They were the l...

Sweet! 8)

Having any extras made?

I've seriously considered the plausibility of making a replica pipe. I have access to tigs, but would need a lot of practice before I could do it justice. Aside from the welding it wouldn't be super difficult.

Re: Team Associated driver Chris Raceles' 1994 Factory RC10GT.

Sorry guys, no new pics to post at this time. It's actually pretty dusty/dirty from sitting on my hobby room shelf, it really needs to be torn down and cleaned up. I did install a nice used OS12CZ-Z, a nice set of factory team shocks, and some period correct turnbuckles, but then ended up taking the...

Re: Is this, or is it not, an rc10T body?

I just stumbled on this old thread while searching Google. Did anyone ever figure out what body this is? This reminds me of the tower hobbies st15 body, exact same body as the 6131 original gt body, but with body post dimples in the non-associated location. Did tower ever make an electric stadium tr...

Re: Traxxas Bullet modern wheel conversion options???

Awesome. I wasn't sure of the size, and I don't have the car with me. I'll tell him to grab some of those wheels and some 2.2's. Thanks.

Traxxas Bullet modern wheel conversion options???

Hi guys. I'm trying to help my friend find some modern 2.2 wheels for his Bullet. Anyone know of something that will bolt on, or something that won't need a whole lot of parts swapped? He doesn't have a lot of money to spend, so I'd like to keep it as simple and cheap as possible. Thanks for the help.

Re: RC10GT project...

I highly doubt you'll find the parts for the carb. You could scour eBay, you never know, but I think it's unlikely. I would just ditch the hpi carb and find a cheap used os carb to stick on there. An os 10E carb from an os 12/15cv should work well, but might require some mods to get it fit on the hpi.

Re: Found a RC10GT

That was a popular engine in the mid nineties. HPI nitro star .15. It was one of the first .15's that would fit in the gt. That is the cheaper version, but they weren't cheap engines, they were priced similarly to the os .12 cz's of the time. There was an upgrade version, the nitro star .15 SS. It w...

Re: Early RC10GT clutch springs ?

I believe they were in the early manuals, and I vaguely remember there being a supplement card when they stopped using them. I'll see if i can find anything on it in any of my paperwork. I believe the reason they stopped using them is because they dragged on the clutch bell pretty bad. I've seen som...
