The original 6 gear tranny ratio is 1.83 on rear, for front one-way drive, I set it a bit faster in 1.78. But I can change the 2nd pin gear to adjust the front rear ratio.Asso_man! wrote:Looking better and better here! Have you calculated the front/rear ratio?

Now sitting as a full roller waiting for the rest of the electronics. Not so sure about the servo used so I'll go for an early standard Futaba one. Yesterday I noticed the ESC switch is not the original one that came with the Novak but can't bring myself to change that. I will have to be creative o...

Re: Fun Project: 1 st 1/10 IFMAR Jammin's prototype RC10 4WD
Very interesting. I didn't look too closely, but it doesn't look like a very good layout. I can't wait to see more. http://i736.photobucket.com/albums/xx5/Buzzcow/IMG_7683_zpsdwvlenrt.jpg I agreed that the layout compare with MIPs or other members' project is not the perfect one. But thought...

Re: making a new gear cover look oldish
this only takes a few minutes and you have a new gear cover that looks much more like an old school one its just a very cheap hobby grade sand blaster that I have used and i have done both sides but you might want to try just doing the inside first and seeing how it looks as if you get too heavy ha...

Re: Time to start my 91 stealth!
Yes, the threads are metric 3mm. Due to I can't find right length turnbuckle in vintage style! So, I am e-mail to few manufacturers to ask for order the vintage turnbuckle for my 91 stealth. Hopefully T-works replied they can make it for me but in metric 3mm threads. Anyway better than nothing!
