Re: Insane speed run build

A small update on the car. Got hold of BRP #5520 threaded stub axles which is more in line with insane speed runs than standard axles with e-clips

Re: Team Associated B44 Box Art

It's been way long since any update on this one. So here goes.
Have had the time to source some electronics and as I solder the cells for the Insane Speed Car I figured I might as well do the saddle packs for the B44 as well.

Re: Preliminary investigation RC10 FF

So a-arms looks to be Yokomo ZC-407. C-hubs and knuckles looks to like Optima, but c-hubs in aluminum? and (OT16 plastic) knuckles. Rear top shock mounts Optima OT47/OT55. Looks like the rear (front) arm mounts are cutdown rc10 mounts. Steering linkage. Mounted offset and looks very familiar, but I ...

Preliminary investigation RC10 FF

So I have this thought of creating a front wheel drive rc10. I found this pic that Asso_man posted in a "body question thread" http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=41267 I think that this one has Yokomo hubs and knuckles and as they are extremely hard to source I'm thinking... Kyosho OT204 c-hubs...

Re: Insane speed run build

Some decals and wheels mounted. Still looking for suitable body, Composite Craft decals and the correct shrink wrap for the receiver battery pack. The wrap used here is matte in finish and too thick. Will also add a Novak on/off switch to the receiver pack.

Re: Insane speed run build

Cool build. Loved the top speed cars in the magazines when I was a kid. Thank you! Same here, from the first time I read about Clausens record breaking 10Lss. I know this build isn't 100% correct, but I just wanted to have a tast off it and it has been really fun buildning it. Not to mention of all...

Re: Insane speed run build

I've always wanted to reproduce the graphics of the Sauber Mercedes Group C car on Lexan. It'd be a challenge. Well that is not something that I'm willing to try. It was enough with the stripes on the Tamiya Ronnie Lotus  I'm finaly done with the electronics on this car. Next up is the lovely ...
