Re: Losi XX CR Kinwald NIB Build

Did anyone else see the price the NIB one went for on eBay recently? Madness!! Yup, I was watching that one too. Thing is as soon as the cellophane is torn off to open the box, most of those $$$’s completely disappear. My guess is that someone has bought that to sit on, and then to resell at some p...

Re: XX CR Chassis Length

FOUND ONE! :D Got me a STD chassis on the way! Thanks for letting me know what chassis I needed, LosiXXkid. Hey! No problem. That’s great news for you. 👍 Is that a used chassis or a brand new one? You wouldn't believe this! So my 100% stock, new built, all plastic, no graphite XX has the 'STD' chas...

Re: A Few Of My Losi Buggies

I had some spare time, so I thought I'd pull a few of my restored Losi buggies out for a few photos. I need to finish my XX CR and my XXX BK2 needs paint, but I'll get to them, soon. Might shoot my Losi trucks, next. L - R: JRX2, JRX Pro, JRX Pro SE, Junior 2, XX, XX Kinwald, XX4, XX4 Worlds Editio...

Re: XX CR Chassis Length

You need the standard chassis which is marked with STD. Thanks mate. Dang, all I have is a graphite chassis with 'S; stamped on it and a regular chassis with 'L' on it. As you probably know, the standard length chassis is the most sought after and therefore the hardest one to find either NIP...

Re: Possible XXT CR G+

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at that manual and that's what has me confused. All the XXT manuals show the "bubbles" with the battery brace, but some losi's came with the velcro battery straps and I can't find a manual to show that. It's right here: http://vintagelosi.com/Manuals_file...

Re: Burnie's XX CR build

I dyed a set of the ivory / (very) off-white XX adjustable steering links black with the RIT brand off fabric dye without any problem. Just be sure to follow the instructions for setting the dye - IIRC you need to add white vinegar and salt - if you haven’t used it before.

Re: NIB Losi XX CR Kinwald Build

I have been sitting on these 2 upgrades for awhile now, and finally am getting around to installing them. I am thinking of changing the silver transmission brace for a Trinity blue item. I used the silver because it matches the front silver Jammin unit up front. I would like to find some anodized g...

It's supposed to centre the motor in relation to the centre line of the chassis.

Is it worth it? Well, it is nice and shiny!

Re: JRX Pro Rebuild

For extra durability, you can always pick up a set of RPM outdrives and Thorp aluminum LRM gears, but you shouldn't need them. As I said before, just be sure that the diff is tightened properly. One weakness I know about the LRM, is that if the diff is at all too loose, the diff balls will melt int...

Re: duratrax bumpers for losi xx

Hi there Just wondering if anyone has tried dying black the yellow/green or blue nylon bumpers that fit the losi xx? Regards Peter I have a blue one that I picked up from Dan a few years ago and ended up dying it black with RIT dye. Looking at it now it's still black, and you can't tell what colour...
