Re: Reedy 1000z+ trouble?

Check your sensor wire. They can easily go bad.

When did the industry go from brushed to brushless?

I was out of the hobby in the mid 2000's so I missed the whole transition. From what I can gather, brushed was still being used when the B3 was out but was it still being used when the B4 was introduced?

Re: Ryan's Cars

RC10WC Re-Re This is my runner WC. This one has RPM arms front/rear, Associated big bore springs on the stock shocks and a Lohas front bumper. Tires are Tamiya Dual Block in K compound. For electronics, there is a Savox 1251 servo, Novak Tempest ESC and a Tamiya Dirt Tuned 27T motor. While not fast,...

Re: Ryan's Cars

Some updates: Built a short arm, 6 gear RC10. It's mostly stock, except for adjustable turnbuckles and JConcepts steering. I used some Associated to Tamiya wheel adapters for the front so I can run Tamiya wheels front and rear. Tires are Tamiya Grasshopper fronts and FAV rears. Long lasting and grea...

Reedy MVP 27T

Can anyone tell me about the Reedy MVP 27T motor? Was it considered a good stock motor or just so-so? Thinking about setting up my B3 with one.

Someone needs to turn this into a TV series...or at least a standup comedy act...

B4 top shaft and slipper fit. When you put those big bores on, note that the rear shock tower is spaced forward.

Re: b4.2 -- Another day, another broken part...

If you are running brushless, consider a 21.5 motor. My son used one of these for several years with great success. I'd say the speed is around what a silver can RS540 would be. Also, I think T Bonz makes big ole honkin bumpers for the front and back.

Re: Late Edinger. Looking for suggestions on esc, servo, et

Castle 3800 is way too much motor for that car. If you want to use your original motors, grab a Hobbywing 1060 esc. They're about $20 and work great.

Re: RC10 Yard Bashers! Lets see yours!

My Worlds Car re-re runner. Swapped out the hubs to run the original wheels. For street/yard use, I run Tamiya Fast Attack rear tires and worn out front ribs. Dirt, I have some old school Proline knobby front tires and re-re rear knobby tires. I also have a pair of Tamiya Grasshopper sand paddles fo...

I too am a huge fan of the B3. I absolutely love mine. I retired mine from racing a year or so ago...maybe I should bring it back out. Nice car BTW.

I love mine too. I haven't raced it in a while though. This build was the reason I got a B3 in the first place. Maybe it's time to break it back out.

Re: Restoring a Hornet

Man, I love this! I have much love for the Grasshopper/Hornet series. You've inspired me to do my own budget restoration of a Grasshopper chassis I've had sitting in a box. Question for you, what did you use to clean up the plastic?
