Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts
With the new rear diff housing it became apparent that I no longer needed the spacers that I built to raise the height of the rear shock tower so it would clear the rear diff cap…..hopefully that made some sort of sense, pictures explain better….

Wonderful thank you Alex B, just ordered some bearings and hit JC Racing and ordered the necessary drive shafts. A little pricey but beats purchasing OEM off the bay.

Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts
Quick questions for the viewers ;) - anyone know what belts actually fit the 93wcs? I assume 94-97 but wanted to check (I have ordered the wrong ones previously) - any idea size are the front and rear hub bearing sizes? I only need 8 and wanted to avoid buying a full bearing kit - going to going wit...

Re: 1993 WCS ‘Faux-komo’ Repo 3d printed & Non-OEM Parts
More of a night of test fitting things but made some progress nonetheless, front and rear turnbuckle setups complete, top deck partially mounted, front diff upper assembly mounted (had to drill them out a bit using a 1/8 drill bit for the upper arm assemblies that the hinge pins would slot into (the...

Re: Winter Budget Beater RC10EGT
Just a quick one cleaning up the front shocks (replacing the gold pistons with standard steel), replacing front springs and shifting the blues to the back, just to get a little closer to the box art version etc. but this will never be a box art, more of a tribute lol finishing up the steering,as well.

Let’s see if we can save some of these rusty turnbuckles.
Sanded down and then wiped down with acetone
Four applications of Cold Blue using a q-tip
Dumped and wiped down with veggie oil and will be left overnight

Re: Any Member In Canada Be Willing To Get and Ship eBay Item?
Hey there,
I am in Canada and would be happy to oblige, let me know. Might be faster to email me at [email protected] if there is still interest?
Have it saved in my eBay, just let me know and I will pull the trigger.

Ok this made me laugh out loud, no sooner than I had marked this one as complete, the following popped up on the bay. Needless to say it was the quickest purchase I have ever made. More to come.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
RUBRIX hooking me up again and allowing me to take another step in my Masami 879 tribute. This was to fix the hubs, normal 870 ones were way to fat but looking at pictures, the 93 units are much closer in size.(p.s. body is a placeholder, painted version just received, working up the nerve to cut/tr...

Re: Winter Budget Beater RC10EGT
Making some small progress, realize that I am not doing this in any kind of order but as things come my way…servos mounted and CVD’s BUT I might take out the CVD’s to attempt a ‘blue’ gun black redo of the finish as there is some rust spots.
