Hi

It's definitely time to start a new thread today. Not that the Bearcat SS is finished (it will be soon), but because now I have started some work on the 44Bs and Zerda chassis. I'm very happy as I like to work on car with chassis variants...

So, a friend of mine says he has an 80% complete YZ-10 and was wondering if I wanted it. I get my hopes up as I've always wanted one but haven't come across one, nor have I actively searched for one either. Anyways, he brings it in and it turns out...

I've just been getting back in to RC the last few months, so I'm getting caught up on what I missed the last 20+ years.

I'm looking for a rather inexpensive 1/10 on road chassis for this HPI '67 vette body.

What I've come to find out lately, is...

Going to have to get out the tiny scissors and cut out those body decals, this chassis is completely done and ready to run.

Went with the HPI Vintage Compound D Tires, 31mm and 26mm, to match these wheels, the tires should be here next week...

Question for our more knowledgeable members.. I have been trying to find some new gold aluminum screws 8-32 for my RC10 builds and they seem hard to find.

I've made millions of custom screws and hardware over my career, and I'm thinking of just...

Outside of corrosion or authenticity is there a reason to use aluminum? Am rebuilding my gold pan and sourced coated steel screws with the odd countersink. Is that going to cause an issue? It's not going to be a boat so the coating should be enough...

I am working on getting a short-arm RC10 going again and I need tie-rods. Where are you getting yours? I can't seem to find anything that is not ridiculously over priced.

On a couple of builds I've used Secraft stainless steel tie rods.
They are cheap and have a pretty cool retro vibe.

Is this a Vicfor Concept 1? It looks like the t-bar is not original but I believe I have the original parts. Scooped this in a lot with a RC10T2 today. I could not find much information about it except it was designed by Arturo Carbonell back in the...
