Hi all,
Sorry if this has been covered before but im rebuilding a JRX Pro and am not that familiar with them.
I need to replace the shock towers but can only find the parts listings for the JRX-ProSE.
Are these the same? Obviously the JRX-Pro had...
I just picked up a XXX spec truck can anyone help me out with some info.
I havent ever seen one of these before. I am looking for a manual to down load or a printed one to buy. this is one of those auctions you through a bid at and the next thing...

Does anyone have or know where to find a copy of the original xxxt manual or exploded view , im trying to find the release date for the xxxt first truck I believe it was year 2000
I have a fairly clean and intact JRX Pro SE buggy and was wondering what I would need to convert it into a JrxT. I figured the front and rear arms would need replacing as well as needing axles for the rear. Wheels and tires as well. Can someone...

I will most likely do the body mounts and wheels/tires and call it a day. This way I can go back and forth as desired. This was to be a shelf queen that I take out once in a while for a vintage get together for fun runs.
Here goes another XX build. This is a new genuine Kinwald Edition XX. I am building it as a shelfer with plenty of tasty upgrades from Trinity, MIP, HG, and Lunsford.
I can't seem to get enough of these XX buggies.

very nice build .
im looking for some trinity xxx rear hubs . if you know anyone has a set for sale
Hey everyone! Thought I would share some pics of my LX-T for interest sake and to reminisce.
Back in the 90’s I turned my LX-T into a dedicated indoor carpet off-road racer. Was such a fun and competitive truck, and I got lots of compliments on...

Interesting lightening on that LXT and looks well done…you usually just see haphazard holes everywhere. How is the flex & twist on it?
It seemed fine, I think I did it in all the right spots even tho I wasn’t a structural engineer or anything...
Any ideas what company made this differential for a 2.61 losi XXT transmission? Any info is appreciated

The heavier aluminum gear and the lightweight outdrives is comical. The lightest diff setup is using the plastic gear and the composite outdrives. Great for a shelf queen though!
The MIP outdrives wear down pretty quick compared to the stock...
Very nice! I built one of these myself and it is one of my favorites
Thank you! Same here. I am a huge fan of the late 90's and early 00's 4wd's. I have this one, a Yokomo YZ10 95', and a TTech Predator 95 International Edition, and a JConcepts...
Take a quick look at the Losi XXX-NT AD2 gas truck and Ignite Design's slick nitro conversion for the TLR 22t 4.0. Both fantastic machines.

I’ve noticed my Ignite truck feels a little heavier than my older GT’s too. I’ve never stuck any of them on the scales though to confirm. Cool video thanks for sharing.
So a little background first... I started racing Losi trucks way back in the beginning, the late 80's, first JRX-T's, then LXT's. I continued until the mid 90's, when I got sick of having to buy the latest gadgets every few months just to stay...

Thank you, coming from you that means a lot. Among all the fine builders/builds here, I consider you & yours to be top shelf . As a matter of fact, it's your beautiful JRX-T build that inspired me to get a vintage truck of my own, as that was my...
I saw a post awhile back on here with this exact truck in a picture hanging on a wall in someone's collection. Anyone recognize the truck or know who owned it? I recently purchased it off ebay

I did a quick search, maybe this guy built it the back drop and photos look similar. Try searching through his old threads.
I don't know much about this single belt conversion kit for XX4. If you have any information to share about the purpose or performance impact of this conversion please share!
This was the first kit offered by X factory according to their manual....

I posted the picture of the manual because I thought it was cool to have the CEO really make an earnest effort to satisfy customers back in the day. I appreciate the engineering and the spirit of entrepreneurship ;)
I am planning to build a mid 90s Kinwald XXT and noticed he ran a long chassis and later modified the chassis to what I assume is the later XL (cutting and adding material) how much of a difference is there between the two chassis's driveability...
Hello guys,
With my old Losi XX i got a new graphite chassis plate which is marked s .
Is this the correct chassis plate for the BK ? Or is it only a shorter Version?
Best regards,

Were there certain years they made changes to the length? I didn't realize there were 4 chassis plates
Hey Guys Just by Accedent I found the guy who makes the bodys For Losi and have talked him into doing a run of the XXL bodys he still has the mould. I have to order twenty min. to start. so whos in they will be under 20.00 each depends on how many I...
As I promised, I had started my new project, the replica of the Brian Kinwald 1997 World Champs winning XX.
This is really special for me, just because, that's my first travel for a big event.
I had a lot of good memories during this race.
As being...

Maybe I’m missing it in the thread - but interested to know what proline wheels they are?
So I have a question regarding which cvd's are overall better with the Kinwald XXCR? I have both sets of steel cvds (from a earlier Kinwald) and the aluminum cvd's (from the later Kinwald) which are better i understand the aluminum is lighter and...

So if you were building a shelfer and had both types which ones would you use? Both sets of axles are in pretty good shape
I got a nice Mf2 today it as vintage as most like but it’s still going to be nice for my collection. I’ve been picking up parts over the last week to have on hand as I start tearing it down and cleaning it. I’ll be adding some of the red pieces as I...
So I picked up some wheels for my JRX-T project off Ebay, a full set of each orange and wild red. I could tell from the pics they were pretty beat up, but I think they will clean up good enough for a runner. They are however more faded than I was...
Starting a new winter project, after rebuilding two early 90's RC10's and a B4 (I think I have too many cars) I decided to take on a 5 link JRX2. When I was racing I had a Losi XXX and a XXX kinwald car which I thought were good quality cars but I...

The car came with a Tekin Pro Tempret speedo which goes with the Trinity motor so it stays, I added extensions to the motor wires so I can direct solder them to the motor. I still use an Airtronics M8 so I...
My Jrx Pro has been sitting on the floor for a while now waiting for some final parts. Picked it up and had a look at it a couple of weeks ago. And found a puddle of shock oil under the front of the car.
I like to have oil in the shocks even if the...
Curious if anyone has any experience with the FW/A&L steering for the JRX cars. Does it take care of most of the play in the stock bellcranks? Is it a worthwhile upgrade? Thanks!

Sounds great, fell free to reach out direct when you are ready to avoid eBay fees.
Interested in peoples thoughts on the buggy vs truck tranny for racing stock.
Vintage class in Australia is either old school brushed 27T stock motors or 21.5T brushless. Our tracks are outdoor dirt and a mix of grip levels, but not indoor clay...

Figure out what final ratio you want then figure out what spur and pinion you would need and see which one is easier to run. If you need to buy anything(spur/pinion) for either setup, it's probably a wash.
I had mistakenly ordered several set of the narrow JC Racing front JRX-2 wheels and I am finding it difficult get get a set of ribbed tires to mount correctly on them. At least the HB ribbed tires I purchased. Is there a set of narrow ribbed tires...
Last post
If you are set on ribs, you might be able to stretch a vintage tire on.
Otherwise, Proline and JConcepts have some narrow tires.
I've heard that some people have cut down the inserts of a standard tire, and that allowed them to be mounted on the...
Probably 6 months ago or so, I got a questionable Kinwald BK1.
Questionable because the pics were less than stellar.
Yet hopeful that it was reasonably complete.
I've wanted a JRX-T since I was a kid and now I have finally got one. I picked it up off ebay for $150 shipped. It looks to be in pretty shape good all in all so I didn't feel that was a bad deal. I'm gonna clean it up and get it running again with...

It doesn't appear to have had any counter sinking done so the 4-40 screw sits flush at the bottom of the chassis. I'm considering filling the hole with JB Weld and re drilling just to be safe. We'll see.
Anyone ever see a direct drive kit for a Losi JRx before? I hadn't either! What was the point? Oval racing conversion?
Never heard of the company before.
This is kind of my introductory post, I've been lurking for a while, but finally made an account. I have been restoring old stadium trucks for a few years now, and this is what's currently on the bench. Hope you guys enjoy! I love seeing build...

Very nicely done. I particularly like the Vintage RC carbon fiber parts - I used the same pieces on my track build LXT, minus the battery holder. Nice find on the wheels too, by the way. Get it painted up! 8)
Just got myself another project. A very nice Junior T.
However it is missing a body and the rear body mount.
Since I recently got myself a (cheap) 3D printer I´d like to try to print a rear body mount to use until I get a hold of a genuine...

Forgot to put a big radius on the actual tabs that go through the body, but otherwise ok.
The printer had blue filament in it so that´s why the Clod rere blue! :D
Here we go again. :D
I got a lot of extra parts when I purshased my Jrx2 project.

I cleaned and sorted all parts when I did the Jrx2...

Ok so in a couple days I’ll be picking up a beautiful box stock all original Jrx pro. I’d very much like to get and install a HD on it. Would the part numbers in this scan be the correct ones for it ? 390C7C94-F8C1-4ED5-BC50-9878D45E884C.jpeg

If you are taking about the ball studs, Custom Works studs are a good fit. They are 4-40 thread, like the originals.
Schumacher studs have the same size ball but with a M3 thread. These are helpful if you have a piece with a stripped 4-40 thread,...
I recently purchased a beautiful XXT from member Isles1. Thank you! Here is the link to his build of the XXT -

I built a couple XXTs as stadium trucks, but when I was a kid I didn't race one, I jumped it up & off curbs in my neighborhood, or did speed runs in parking lots with friends. I bashed the hell out of my old XXT. So I picked up a third one, restored...

Just found the 6104 revolution MTM for my JRX-T and a 6060 superstock for my JRX2. Would the 6058 Killer be a good fit for the XX-4 or is there a better option. Trying to stay with the brushed motor for nostalgia.

There is an old Revolution Motor ad about half way down the last page in this thread: It should help you decide on your 4WD motor choice.

Was lucky enough to get this nice lady from ebay. Only two fotos were used at this auction which doesn`t present the car very well.
Now here are more and they say more than 1000 words.
