The gearbox casings and pivot mounts were identical on all lazers so the wheelbase option is the only one. I did see a few prototypes with a cut out rear mount with the pivot block bolted to the chassis so is possible that this was for that.

All of the diff's up until at least the TF3 are interchangeable with the Lazer (spools too ;) ). I think the TF4 diffs are as well but I'm not positive. Also, the Pure Ten series diffs are direct swaps. They're better too in that they're built like...

I think the biggest issue is the spherical part of the CVD won't fit your ultima outdrive cups.
There is at least one other drive cup , I think it's from HPI but not sure, which bolts on the geardiff axlesand is lightly larger inside; so that works...

I think the belt made a big difference...maintenance wise. I don't believe it increased performance that much. I remember having to adjust the front end constantly due to chain stretch. All that action takes a toll on the chassis rails and screw...

I think that the forwarded hinge pin locations creates higher forces to hinge pin and to suspension arm hole around hinge pin and because of this the suspension got stuck when it moves and it does not work as freely as normal A-arm suspension would...

For me they didn't work. They made the car (Jrx2 Proformance kit) to understeer with same setup. I should have probably change my setup but it was easier just return the standard parts to the car.
