Fantastic looking car, although I'd find it really difficult to choose between those sets of wheels. Both sets look great. The second set look like Sees if I'm not mistaken?

A clodbuster has a 10.63 wheelbase. The juggernaut has an 11 wheelbase. Maybe one of those bodies would come close.

Not knowing anything about the ZX-5, why are there so many lengths?

Did some measuring, it looks like these Duratrax DTXC2613 3 body posts will work perfectly...and even better, my LHS happens to have 'em in stock! So no additional 2-week delay! I can get back to work on it this weekend. 8)

Does anyone remember who the guy was that sold sandrail frames like this on ebay last year I think there was a post showing them they were selling for 150.00 and I believe there was an orange painted one and some red painted chassis?

One thing to remember, those are optima mid wheels (one piece) while the turbo optima is a 3 piece wheel. You may have problems fitting the tamiya tire on the optima wheel becasue of the bead.

I think there's a McAllister version that looks similar.

I had the zx5 rtr and it was a terrible experience. Diffs got loose too often and the plastic parts were always breaking. Sold it in the end because I was spending too much money on it. Might be a good car for flat surfaces but the moment you go to...
