I just got the RPM front arms, but shimmed back like yours, I hit the chassis :( - but the bigger problem is the arms are longer than the stock TRX1 arms, making the front end too wide overall, almost a complete inch (20mm or so) wider than my other...

With some shocks mounted up on servo mounts and the motor plate and 17.5 HobbyWing it'll be utilizing. Start it out with a 78S/30P with the factory 2.14:1 final drive...yields a 1.21:1. Is that math right? Driven ÷ Drive, etc....

Overall this has been a good truck. I’ve stripped the servo horn last time out but it’s all fixed and ready to go. The salt water at the beach has not been kind to the some of the metal parts but it gives it s nice rusty patina.
Every wonder what is supposed to be in the bag? Well, here ya go! If this is a resource you will use often, its probably best to download the folder as its large and the access can be slow (Klavy, dont bother- it will take a year! :lol:)

Straightened the pins as best I could, along with one of the front shock shafts that was pretty bad too.
I've had this Stampede for over a year, and though I've had many rc cars, from the low budget, to the high end racing stuff, I gotta say, this thing is super fun.....but I was never happy with the way the body looked on it, and the other options...

yep, alternately, you could swap out the spindles for rc10 spindles (with or without the longer axles) and run 2.2 rc10 or 2.2 B4 fronts.

the external o-ring is shown on the manual. I usually see this on old shocks where the seals are put by the outside: Traxxas, schumacher top cat / cougar 1, etc.
