This is a tribute to the great line of RC10 buggies produced since 1984-2009 (RC10 - RC10B4). This is a work in progress. It will take some time and help from fellow members, as we all learn new things about the different versions. So please be...

Question I haven't found a firm answer for... it seems some RC10's have much whiter Nylon than others. I'm not talking about dirt or oxidation/aging etc.. just simply as they came some cars had much whiter nylon. I know this because I was fortunate...
I built one of these when I was much younger. Have wanted to build another for a while but other cars took priority. I finally got it to a point where I consider it ready to view. More parts to arrive but its...

The rear bulkhead gets the majority of the work. The battery cup needs shaved completely to fit in between the GT arm mounts and to make room for a battery. I shaved down where the trans brace mounts to get closer to the height of the GT trans. The...
After being dormant since the late eighties I've decided to blow life into my old A stamp. I've been thinking of doing this for years, and now I'm posting the build here in the hope it will motivate me to actually get it finished. The goal is to get...

Trying out bell cranks with the cut nuts as shown above, to solve the problem of the stripped threads in the nose plate. Took away some material from the bell cranks to lower the ball ends for the steering rods. Also compensated with 0,75 mm washers...
Hi All
Have a few questions about a conversion kit I found.
It's an RCH oval conversion kit.
Anybody ever heard of it?
Anybody use one back in the day?
Any pics of one built?
I will ad a pic later of the kit I have.
Thanks
Mike

Here's the pics, sorry it took so long camera software issues.
I think I have most of the hardware, problem is the bag had a few holes in it.
When I get a chance I will try to figure out how to scan and upload the manual and color ad, it has parts...
I'm not sure what you all are using for turnbuckles but I was in the market for some for my Team Car rebuild. I'm far too cheap to buy anything titanium, nor am I a good enough driver to make use of any performance gains. I wanted something a tiny...

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe that you'll find that you have an interference problem between these ball cups. Move the steering as you compress the suspension.
I'm rebuilding an RC10 Team Edition with a carbon chassis and I just discovered that one of the nylon internal split snap rings is missing from one of the rear shocks. Anyone have a source or something that interchanges? I see they are included in...

Anyone know offhand with the inside diameter is of the early RC-10 shocks, 12mm? Look for something 13 or 13.5mm in diameter to cut a little wedge out of.
.4 /10.2 mm is the inner size of vintage associated small bore shocks.
Enjoy the unboxing pictures of the RC10FX Special . This recently became part of my Team Associated buggy lineup.
This buggy is marketed in their Yokomo General Import Distributor for Team Associated brochure as having (in Japanese), ...almost the...

A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.

Hey guys,
I have both sets of front wheels, rc10b2 offset, and when measuring them, the jc racing wheels have 4mm more positive offset.
This is about what the b4 wheels are, I looked on Jc's website, and my wheels have the outer flange like in their...

I did some measuring on several of my cars. I don't have any JC Racing wide wheels, so take it for what it is.
Both of my cars with JConcepts fronts have a wider track width than any of my cars with JC Racing or vintage wheels (as well as 1.9...
Hey guys, I’m setting up an RC10 to run at my local Clay track. I plan on putting some big bore shocks on it that I took off of a B5m. I’m looking for some basic set up Tips since I know several of you guys have run big bore shocks on your RC10s....

I need to test more but, I used shocks from a B5 with factory works towers. I used kit pistons with 30W oil. My suggestion is to measure your current droop setup and match that with your new setup. I liked green springs front and rear but, tune to...
Hi all, I tried searching and didn't find anything about this. I got a stainless screw kit for the RC10 Worlds car for use on my Graphite chassis Team Car (t least I think that's what it is). The new screws aren't the correct head angle to match the...
Well, the building itch has hit me again. I was going through my old parts box, and found I had almost everything to put together another RC10...I already have one, so I've decided to experiment. I picked up a sheet of 3mm G10 and using only the...
Conversion kit from GrandPrix3D has arrived and the inventory for parts has begun.
Printed parts feels strong, but there's alot of work to be done to them befor they look representable.

I think there are alloy sprint car options out there also. I've got a set of Barts somewhere around here but not sure of their exact measurements. Hot trick had them also along with a few other blingey type brands. The names aren't coming to me...
I'm looking for information on shock mounting bushing for gold pan rc10's.

What is the traxxas part name/number ? Would the white one have the same number?
Traxxas put them in shock rebuild kits. I think #1662 and #2669 both would have them. Yes, traxxas like associated kept the same part numbers when they went from...
Anyone recognize this? Believe this to be some sort of fiberglass RC10 chassis. All existing chassis holes line up with original gold pan (no stealth holes). Thinking this may have been some type of early on road chassis as it doesn’t seem quite...

The stiffeners you are talking about were not for the RC10. They were for the highly modified Tamiya Sand Scorcher. RCH didn’t do much of anything for the RC10. I ran an all graphite RC10 with the new at the time modular alum end bell Checkpoint...

So I just bought an MIP SL-1 for and RC10 project I started.
Based on all the manuals I've looked it, it appears to include all the parts. I gotta say this thing is a work of beauty. It's just...sexy inside.
It came with a GD-100 and a TC-100. All...

Yeah I'm no expert with brushless stuff and lipos. BUT I'd keep it at a nice 2S voltage. Be a shame to roast all the nice MIP stuff on 3S.
Is associated #6571 the correct top shaft for the stealth buggy trans? And does the 10t use the same shaft? Looking at some online docs can get confusing :?

Yes- and it was used from the first stealth through the DS, B3/T3 and GT as well.
If you want to modernize, Avid makes a topshaft to run the dual disk stuff and they make a slipper assembly that will be great on the wallet vs sourcing vintage...
Picked up this lightly used b2 roller that I tore down cleaned up and added new front tower and new rear tires and bearings to the steering. I will replace some other parts as I go as well as some of the hardware.

That LRP is sweet. I'd love to find one someday. Novak Hammers seem hard to find now as well.
So I just purchased a 6gear RC10 (minus electrics) from Etsy for $170. I've had most the pieces for a 6gear RC10 that I got 25 years ago, but I'd been too afraid to do anything with it lately.
The one I just bought says in the listing that it has a...

While designing longer arms for NIX10M, I started to think about so called quadra-symmetric suspension layout used from RC10B3 onwards.

This is awesome! I had two Golden Arrows back in the day. First met it's demise trying to jump a pool. The other just got beat down over time. Wasn't much after that when I got my first RC10. Very neat mashup!

Ideally you'd want the longer B4 axles and the #9608 spacer.
Not sure what custom works has but alternatively you could use these from Jeff which is a readily available replacement for the #9608. Mind you the spacers won't work with the shorter...
I'm racing my B3 on carpet soon and want to fit a rear rollbar. Anyone have photos/instructions of where it clamps to the chassis?
