This is a tribute to the great line of RC10 buggies produced since 1984-2009 (RC10 - RC10B4). This is a work in progress. It will take some time and help from fellow members, as we all learn new things about the different versions. So please be...

Question I haven't found a firm answer for... it seems some RC10's have much whiter Nylon than others. I'm not talking about dirt or oxidation/aging etc.. just simply as they came some cars had much whiter nylon. I know this because I was fortunate...

I had personally a raborn telescoping axle kit for my RC10 buggy. It was very unusual in france. The arms were very strong, but the axles gots worn very fast.
It was a great help...
Probably a stupid question, but where can I find a body (unpainted or painted)?
Last post
I believe any RC10 pan body will fit. IIRC, the only difference with the world chassis from the goldpan/blackpan is that it was milled. Still the same basic shape.
I have a worlds car and run a Viper body and a Protech II body on it. I still have...
Lookin to spend no more that $160 for a brushless system for a RC10 rebuild. I was lookin at Novaks and the Traxxas VXL. What do you think?

All Novaks are good for is putting on a smoke show for the spectators
Their motors are good though I run a 5.5t with Mamba Max.. I thought ROAR finally allowed sensorless?

welcome to the board. People are now upgrading to the modern wheels as they are easier to come by. There are some links on the site that might help you with wheel and tire combos. Bodies are still avail. at tower hobbies as well as the wings. Good...
I have ordered up a new Protech body for my newly aquired RC10 and saw a (presumably) Associated photo of an RC10,wearing a Protech body painted in box art colors, but it was green, instead of orange...But I can't find it,now!

They are like the MC hammer pants of the r/c world.
Hey, don't be dissin hammer pants, actually quite comfortable around the house
Those were cool for what, like a week and a half?
They had a shelf life shorter than leisure suits.
Where can I find out the travel length of B3 shocks, front and rear? I would like to know if I can use B4 ones. I realize that there are limitations in travel - steering in front, cvd's in rear, etc.
Thanks!

if you really want to slow the car down, look into picking up an integy lathe motor like the crawler guys use. 35, 45, 55 turns and lower. they only cost like $20 last time i bought some.

I got this off ebay for £20 just expecting to break it for some parts, but its got a very strange belt transmission?!
And a mega thick homecut chassis. Oh and a front nose plate worthy of the light weight chassis thread!

First time i see this beltdrive getting the lightening treatment.
The belt tends to harden a bit into the shape of the pulley which gives a strange fell to it. But once you run it you can't tell.
I found it very nice and quiet for vintage racing....

Hey Brian, all I can say is judging from the side pics on my Edinger box it does show a silver phillips head screw holding down one side of the battery straps. So I'd say leave it if you're building a true box art buggy.

Frist one. I rebuilt my Edinger and used a NIP tub that I bought 15 to 20 years ago. And it has no marking on it. It dosn't have a A , B ,or C stamped in it. It a 6 gear only tub.

the other Q is. This is the Tub off my Edinger car....

Good to know that a real early Edinger exists with no stamp - interesting. I never checked on my original car that is long gone, but my current real Edinger is stamped.
