This is a tribute to the great line of RC10 buggies produced since 1984-2009 (RC10 - RC10B4). This is a work in progress. It will take some time and help from fellow members, as we all learn new things about the different versions. So please be...

Question I haven't found a firm answer for... it seems some RC10's have much whiter Nylon than others. I'm not talking about dirt or oxidation/aging etc.. just simply as they came some cars had much whiter nylon. I know this because I was fortunate...
I've got an old six gear transmission that I wanted to run in an older gold pan. It is almost all there but missing the spur gear and diff balls. I've got an 83 tooth 48 pitch spur gear from Associated/. Can I use a regular Team Associated spur that...

Thanks a lot! My nephew keeps crashing my car so we're gonna build him a basher out of spare parts. He's 9 and still leanring but yesterday he jumped my runner over 6 ft high!
Do the Jconcept rulux wheels have a pin or hex drive for say, a B4, and B44?
can anyone take a quick offset measurement on the b4 rear and/or b44 front wheel?
thanks in advance!

The red wheels I thought to be carson are really tamiya I found out last night: from the mad fighter model.
Team crp also makes a front axle for the original RC10 to mount 5mm tamiya wheels by the way.
Well, i have some Andy's parts and want to know what all came w/ the conversion, and if someone has a pic of individual oarts, post them up :!: :!: :P

Well, i got some parts in a RC10T trade and i asked someone and they said it was from Andy's, if thats all the parts, i have them all except for the rear hubs!!!!!!!!  I just need to know for when i either sell them or make an...
So I fully remember back in the day when guys took their gold pans and cut all kinds of holes in them to reduce weight. I had a buddy who raced a lot and I watched him do it. Thank god I wasn't much of racer so I never vandalized my gold pan in that...

I Know there was some talk of this some time back. I am trying to get to the VONATS this year, hopefully work and everything else ($$) works out.
I'm going to build this Team Car just like I built my team car in 93 ( a little less dremil maybe, I...

Man this car is great - I love all the subtle but effective modifications, that means it can kick some modern buggy ass on the track. Inspiration for my runner project 8)
Good action shots too - I wish we had some purpose built indoor dirt tracks...
going to order a pair of nose brace for a RC10 tub chassis from towerhobbies and while I was there I thought to get some other spares as well to make the shipping cost worthwhile (non-US resident).

All I can say is, WOW! What a great collection! I am particularly jealous of the early RC10.
My original RC10 (purchased from Tower Hobbies in 1984) had the light chassis, lexan gear cover and
early rear shock pieces. The only thing I don't...
Howdy guys. New to the site, but not new to RC. Just came across this forum a couple days ago, and having been a big RC10 fan my whole life it seems lol I figured I should sign up and get involved in the goings on here. Just this past friday I made...

A very nice start. I love my B2 runner that I made the other day, but RC10resto is correct, B2 parts are getting harder and harder to find! So if you are racing this car, find extra front shock towers, switch your top plate for a B3 one and save the...

just a bit of fyi, if the track has any sort of traction at all you are really going to fight with the offset arm thing (Ive never tired it on a loose track, but traditionally thats the only place where you see offest arm cars). More specifically...
I have alot of RC10's they are my favorite. Here in dearborn at hemlock park I have seen a group of guys running some tamiya buggies. They just bash the hell out of them . I am not a basher but looked like alot of fun to take a car and try to...

I've been cruising all over this site as well as a few others, and I don't see many gold pans with the old wiper arm speed control. I know even back in the day they were worthless right out of the box. Most everyone I knew put an aftermarket...

Thanks for the pic. It actually reminded me that I'm missing a couple parts in addition the the servo blocks.
I dusted off my old 1990 RC10 graphite sprint car with the Kyosho sideways cage and made a few updates and ran it at two local tracks in the St. Louis area in the modified sprint class. I put wide front CW axles and castor blocks on it and some...

Great pictures mrlexan! Thanks! Now I just need a Sidewinder body for my TQ10. It sure would be nice if mrlexan made one!  nudge nudge. You know what I mean? Is she a goer? Say no more!
I recently decided to re-build an RC-10 to what I once used to own.
What I had though wasn't a simple gold pan but a fully tricked out graphite (D&D) chassis, A&L arms rear, Andy's front, graphite towers, MIP gearbox (pre-stealth), fully polished...

Remaining unseen from my wife. As long as its unseen she forgets I have a collection. That is at least until we find a house to move into. Not very much space in a 700sq ft apt.
I rarely get a chance to post up my builds. Mostly due to my parts being in storage and my wife not wanting to share me with my builds. Here we go. Here is my version of an Old but Newer car.
I was fortunate to find this car at a local hobby shop....

It helps if you show up in person. They even un-soldered the wires for me so I didn't lose my plugs.
Guys, I have some old front RC10 rims that are painted. I want to strip the paint and dye them. What can I use to strip the paint that won't hurt the nylon? Any suggestions?

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knew of any online retailers that still stock parts for the 2.25 stealth tranny? I looked at another post on this forum that had some links to Tower Hobbies and I searched tower but to no avail.
as the title says what are the advantages.have noticed alot of guys running them on there old is new cars and was considering whether or not to get one for mine(in progress),any insight would be great :D

The main purpose is to get the body lower. The shock mounting positions aren't really ideal for a buggy, but seem to work ok.

That figures.. theyre in Oregon LOL.. Hobby stores are like dinosaurs in my area.. extinct.. Actually my 6 gear came with a 48 pitch spur, not 32. Most likely I'll just pick up an extra 6 speed on ebay.. since 2.25 stealths are harder to come by.

I just bought a black tub RC10 buggy from tbfoto in the BST section. It has some greenish blue nylon parts. What's the story with these? When I got out of the hobby in the 90's, they still had white parts. How long were they in kits?
