Does anyone know about the proline 2 stage inserts
Pro-Line® two-stage foam
I am gathering the last parts for my vanair build and the tire inserts have me vexed.
When I look at the inserts on the shelf they look HUGE. I mean big enough that I...

Hi all, I have a set of truck tyres that came in a bundle of stuff.
They are 2.2 rims with what looks like a stagger rib pattern tyre. The truck tyres are the same size as regular stadium truck tyres, just half the width. The wheels take a flanged...

Proline 7055 narrow truck front tires, not sure what the wheels are. They look like buggy width.
Proline did make narrow one-piece 10T front wheels. The Vortex series. Not what you have shown.
I have a full set of 10T Vortex wheels (narrow and...
My first batch of parts came in this morning, lots more will be coming over the next few weeks. This will be a Stealth tranny, 13.5T brushless powered, Factory works inspired build. I have some of my...

BTW- Haven't heard from NomadRacer in quite some time.....
Here is the start of a modern take on the RC10T. I just had the chassis anodized. I did some rounding and sanding work to it prior to anodizing. I will be installing modern electronics, as well as new vintage upgrades. It will be a bit of a mash up...

I tried to color correct / lighten one of the photos.
Is there anyway that I can find a 10T manual? I have searched online for them and haven't found one. I am wanting to restore mine and before I take it apart I want to make sure I can find a manual so that I can put it back together. any help would...

Here is a scan of an original. Update I never read the whole thread so this post can be deleted.
Hi there, I have an original rc10t that I have been preparingfor vintage racing.
I noticed that it comes with 4.5 degrees of toe in on both sides.
This seems a lot to me, is there any reason why they decided to put so much toe in on it? What sort...
Last post
4.5* seems a bit excessive to me, I personally wouldn't go more then 3* for most tracks.
More rear toe makes the truck square up a bit quicker and drive straighter when on the throttle (reducing on power rotation) which is good for super loose...
I have an original restored black arm RC10GT (black pan)....are those more generic than the white arm models?

i have been slowly swapping all the white parts (that fit) from my rc10 team truck onto my GT. i think it just looks nicer with the white parts. the team truck arms , if you can find them, are pretty solid too!
I've been reading some of the forums they talk about updating to different pitch gears and a few trade offs, some seem to be geared towards speed.
I currently have an 16/87 on the car, I have an optional 64 but I noticed it's a slightly different...

also if you are planning to race it, when figuring out your gearing make sure you only run it for 5-6 minutes at a time so you can accurately check the temperatures for race conditions
With respect to Joey (jkracing) I'm going to start this thread so anyone could easily find the RC10T2 mod in it's own thread, and not go digging for it.
But first a little back history on the RC10T and its 1994 ROAR NATIONALS prototype shock...

Hi,
Does anybody make the 94 prototype rear shock tower, or have dimensions available.
Just picked up an RC10T that I’ll be rebuilding and hopefully documenting on this sight.
I’m looking for Lunsford Punisher Turnbuckles / tie rods. I wasn’t able to find a kit for the RC10T. Anyone know how to piece one togeather? I see T4 ones but...

General backstory of this T2: I got this truck brand new in 1996 when I was 10 years old, built it, ran it for a year or two at the local dirt track (RIP A-Main Raceway in Vancouver, WA) then got tired of being so much slower than the buggies that...

Alas, here is v1 of the revived T2. For electronics we went with:
Reedy SC600-BL speed control
Reedy 540-SL4 brushless/sensorless motor
Turnigy Trackstar TS900 steering servo
Flysky GT5 radio/FS BS6 receiver
Reedy WolfPack 3S 4500 mAH LiPo...
I just won an auction of what appears to be a rc10-team truck. However the parts appear to be black instead of white. I see that some truck parts were made in black.
Assuming they are original stock parts, are they made of nylon or some other...

If it is in fact stock black parts, they will be glass filled black nylon. Stronger than virgin nylon but less stiff that carbon filled nylon. If they are dyed parts they could be virgin nylon.
Thanks for that. It sounds like either way I should...
so a couple of things i have a set of wheels for a truck and it seems know i have to get super long axles to be able to mount them on my truck could someone tell me what brand of wheel they are and do i need to get monster axles or are they not rc10...

I had forgotten that the 2WD nitro trucks used an axle vs the 12mm hex that everything else used.
Even the rears are 12mm hex, same offset as a 2WD electric front. One of my 10T's has a hex conversion and uses nitro Rustler rears all around....
Hi all, looking from part numbers, brands or suppliers/companies that have aftermarket shocks and tyres for my RC10T as I'd like to dust it off and start racing it again in my local track in short course truck event. Thanks for any advice.

Ok cool mate, I'm happy to rebuild shocks but was curious as to what people are running these days. Thanks again I'll have a look around.
Biggest upgrade is to grab the shocks off of the newer SC AE trucks....................................
I apologize for what seems like such a simple stupid question!
I picked up a T4FT earlier today and dug a bit into it. I found the front wheels were held on with plastic nuts. From my quick research, the front threads should have been 4-40...

When I tighten the nuts on aluminum axles, I don't really even hold the nut driver tight. I just spin it with my finger tips. When it snugs up, I stop.
I just finished buttoning up the chassis. Body will be coming soon.
I guess I could say I was inspired by scr8p/jconcepts EGT build. I was never a huge fan of colorful builds. But I thought the white parts against the blue chassis actually looked...

I use a 13.5 brushless in my T3 but in going to try s 10.5 outdoors this summer.
I know I ask a lot of stupid question, so I won't stop now.
I purchased a CVD for the car and I was trying to install it tonight finding out that my RC10T does not have the correct pins for the RC10T3 that they came off of. So looking for the parts...
I have a few that are trashed so I wanted to replace several. I have found only a couple for sale on ebay. Is there a newer model that's close? I noticed that the 7230's are way too long.

They aren't out of production, just out of stock at the moment. I just bought some last week.
If using the original turnbuckles (short thread), there aren't many options. If you can find them, I think Custom Works 8130 might be the same thing.
I remember throwing out a white nylon shaft with a smaller point think on the end some years back no knowing what it went to. I'm trying to reassembly the shocks as part of the rebuild and I instantly remember what it was for :(

Hey guys. Took apart the transmission of my 10t to clean it up, assess the condition, and throw in some new bearings... in the process, I noticed my diff thrust spring (that goes in the drive shaft) is missing. I have one on order, but I’m wondering...
Last post
No, not the same.
It was probably a good idea to replace the thrust spring anyways. If they loose tension, it can cause the diff to run loose and damage it.
Damn. Well, thank you. Guess we’re back on hold. This is my last step major step before...
This truck belonged to a friend of mine. He is a very OCD avid racer. He does every little thing to get that extra little edge down to wet sanding brand new diff rings to a mirror finish. Anyways he moved away from my area (pa) in 2014 to Florida....

RC10 buggy carriers will work as well. They use a different bearing and the geometry is a little different.
Regular dog bones and axles are probably the most readily available thing, not that they are cheap.
based upon a few suggestions, but I think the 3s battery might be overkill (from what I'm reading now).
Is there a way to limit it or should I look at returning the battery/charger and get something else? I was...

Some of my parts came in today, to include the 3S battery. I have ordered a 2S and it should be here in a couple days with similar dimensions. Using the 3S for layout placement, I was wondering what the best way to fit the battery into the chassis....
I have 2 T4 RTRs, and it seems that the inner ball stud on the rear camber link will loosen up over time and if I don't check them often enough snap off and send the dogbone flying somewhere. The last time it happned I could not find it, and it...

you can search RC10GT arms on ebay. They are the same. Right now I only found aluminum ones.
RC10GT/NTC3 fuel tanks gone forever!..only a dude in Australia have any left on Ebay, big money with shipping.
