RCCA has a preview of the new factory team SC10 kit. It has new shocks, threaded on the bottom, and now come standard with the bleeder caps.

I ran a Kyosho ZX-5 when it first came out. It had the velvet shocks, and all I can say is that I never had issues out of them. Very smooth, easy to build. The bad thing about them at the time was their lack of available spring rate options. I'm...
I just got this off craigslist and it came with 3 controllers and tons of extra tires, servos, 3 motors, and 100s of parts for $100. I am new to the hobby so I am sure I will have questions about it. This seems like a very good forum :D

New to forum and looking for what and what manufacturers aftermarket aluminum parts will readily fit the RC10T with minimal modifications? A-arms, shock towers, castors etc?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Last post
Besides the rear shock tower, all the GT parts should fit on a 10T
GT rear arm mounts don't work either
Then what manufacturer or other models parts will fit?
My 10t keeps getting dirt in the pinion and spur gear and chews up the gears I sealed the cover with silicone and that didn't help anyone have this problem or a fix?
Last post
Sometimes, depending on the size of the spur gear, it can either bump the gear cover from sealing to the motor plate, or just wear a hole in the motor plate, allowing dirt & mud to ingress.
As for the original felt gaskets, the roll pin on the top...
I just got this beauty from jdensison75 in a trade, thanks Joel! This truck was obviously someone's baby and if I had to guess I'd say it's been run very little if at all. I assume that the anodizing was also done by the previous owner. The truck is...

Oh, dum dums, yeah, he always sends those. I'm not much on hard candy though so they just lay around until I thow them out.
As to the body mounting - I'm not quite sure how it will end up. This truck had some custom mounts made for it and I...
Well I got bored and never had the heart to throw this truck out. I have had this for 14 years and am now going to get it running again. I have cleaned all the parts and found some parts I needed. The stealth trans has been rebuilt, new RPM a-arms...
If you have a T3 laying around and want a cool project try this. I saw a few people talking about it on another forum and jumped in on it and this is what we came up with.
The NW shortcourse is set for May 15th in Pasco Wash. The event seems to have an issue regarding hybrid trucks ---My sc10t is not allowed to race the event...(I WAS ONLY GOING TO RACE HER IN MOD) that also means any xxxt lxt schumacher traxxus cust...

There was a Trinity Street Spec series in the mid 90s; multiple manufacturers were allowed, but the chassis had to be approved by Trinity, and everybody ran the same tires, motors, and batteries. Only three companies made the pan cars, but it was a...
So i just got a set of mip cvds from a t3 and realized there is no axle pin where the wheel attaches too. None of the pins i have fit, which pins do I use???
Last post
I ordered these today,
I also checked and the pin that holds the cvd to the axle also fits and works perfect on my SC10 wheels.
Hey all...Yes,I am alive (at least I think I am) and (reasonably) well.
Anyway...I just traded a touring car I had laying around for this Associated Monster GT.
The guy I'm getting it off has no idea about anything regarding it...Can anyone...
They are in stock at amain heavily discounted, but anyone know what motor is in there or esc, it mentions brushless ready, but nowhere on the site is the specs.
Sometime in late '91 or early '92 I decided it was time to upgrade from my kick-ass (but far too fragile) Tamiya Blackfoot. I was 14 at the time, and I'd been drooling over the Team Trucks that had just hit the scene. My Dad told me that if I could...

I had a very similar setup; same Composite Craft chassis, white RPM bellcranks and black arms, even cut down the motor mount like that too (didn't drill it though).
Consider rebuilding the diff; new thrust bearing, balls, and rings will only cost...
Since I never had a truck conversion til now (thanks Rod for the many truck conversions) I thought I would put one on my only gold pan temporarily. Rod if you come across any cheap RC10s I can put one you these conversion kits on let me know, I need...

Cool stuff Anthony, I'm happy you could put the conversions to use! I had a Proline one (Chev body?) back in the day on a gold pan and then the 10t came out! I can't remember what I did with it after, I think it went back to a buggy! The conversion...
First off I'd like to introduce myself I'm James and this is my RC10 I got it in a trade for a another R/C. I'm glad I stumbled onto this site appears tobe quite informative and it has pictures I like pictures

It says it's for a B44 Chassis I don't know what car that is, I put in RC10 and it came up I was looking over this one and one other. I wasn't paying enough attention and ordered this one when I wanted the Bearing Steering Asembly.
Cant wait to drive it, just waiting on fed ex :D  Its gonna be a great backyard basher. Its not perfect but its gonna be fun. Made a good little deal to get it thanks treehugger. I gotta finish cleaning that buggy and get another thread...

Its always good times :D I just gotta get some interference issues dealt with. It sucks when you get missed especially cause you cant go pick it up
I'm not sure if it came from a board member or not, because I won it on eBay. The RC10t was my first electric truck (my first r/c was a Nitro brute) that I raced from about 94-95. Back then I swaped out the pan with a worlds car pan. I think they...
So I am converting this RC10T im building to 3/16 but I want to eventually breakdown and get some aluminum wheels. Would it benefit me to run 3/16 or should I just stick with 1/4 because I want to run maybe vintage aluminum wheels?
Last post
Thats not bad a price, I expected to pay at least $100 for a nice set of aluminum wheels.
So I have a set of rear rpm carriers for RC10T/GT and im gonna get the bearings but AvidRC gives me 2 options, 3/16x1/2 metal and 3/16x1/2 revolution which are better?
And I have an original white stealth tranny and dont want to dye it black, can I...
Last post
the revolution bearings have a rubber sheild on one side and a metal sheild on the other (if i remember correctly).
Thats correct... I just bought $40 worth. The rubber side goes towards the elements.
Can somebody with an SC10 please measure the wheelbase, at standard right height and with the chassis bottomed out? I'm trying to figure out how much to stretch a 10T chassis to fit the body. My original plan was to line up the wheels in the fenders...
why the RC10T and some other truck bodies' front wheel wells sit behind the actual wheels.
It bothers me.
Anyone else?
Is there a fix for this?
... aside from the one that I chose, which was the buggy body.
Last post
It's because of the 30 degree kick-up on the front suspension; the wheels move back as well as up. The Slash and SC10 have the same thing; look at them from the side when the suspension is extended and then compressed. Nothing to fix it unless you...
I'm brand new on here but not new to the Hobby. I dug up my old (or what the guy at the hobby shop called vintage - made me feel old) RC10T, after seeing my buddys new HPI blitz. My truck is in good shape and I got it up and running with a shock...

It looks like chassis extension may create a weak point in an otherwise solid rig.

I've got a almost mint RC10T (has white parts) coming in the mail. I really prefer the white arms and parts to the black ones. Do you think the white would be acceptable to put on this chassis? Thanks for your input. To me this car looks too much...

I'd go with the white. It does look a little Halloweenish.

You might call it an RC10
maybe an RC10T
I'm still on the fence, but RC10 B/T may be on the build sheet.

Just picked up a new motor.
Got it on Ebay and w/in 10 miles.
Its a Trinity SpeedGems Titanite 15T double and it hauls... seems as fast as the brushless.
I can't make the clutch stop slipping... annoying.
Wasn't sure where to put this but since I'm interested in making some RC10T parts it seemed best to put it here.
I think this is most useful for vintage goodies that are out of production but there's scope for all sorts of things:
Here's where I...

I've finished restoring my two RC10Ts this fall thanks to the help of this board. They had been collecting dust for about 15 years. Amazingly, everything still works, even my Panasonic 1700 NiCads.

has anyone had a Teambluegroove body in hand? Any feedback on the quality? They are more affordable than other ones, I was wondering if they're still worth covering a painfully restored 10T?

Well she's done, nice modern sealed bearings all round. I really liked buying from Avid, besides the good service they sent a sticker sheet :)
I toyed around with my SC10 wheels for interest sake.
what would be the best power plant for the 10t i picked up another one this week end and it going to be a runner

Well, hopefully not an irradiated pinion!
It was lowest gearing possible, I think... 87T spur and 14T pinion.
I'm was gonna get a few 81T spurs from Tower and the Robinson odd size 15-25 pinion set to try a few different ratios.
I got this very nice RC10T from a now infamous member in a trade deal a while back. Contrary to other folks on here I have had a very pleasant and lucrative trading experience with him. This truck is just one example. I got the body in a separate...

dont the new stealths have the bigger gt diff in them?
I just received an RC10 and an RC10T (from different people) and both have chassis that aren't flat front to back.
Neither chassis has a great deal of wear on the bottom.
But if you sight down the length of the chassis they're both bowed. The...

yep, clamp, vice is best.
remember that metal has some spring to it, especially tempered material, such as the T6 in the chassis you are looking at. You will have to bend it slighly 'over' flat so that it springs back to straight.
