This is not my work, for sure. But I thought it looked cool so I figured I'd share.

To help out someone, I am not sure what the main chassis is. I know the front end is a bolink Street spec that someone modified with 1/12 parts to simulate the EV10 front end (and its assembled backwards too, I know). Any help is appreciated
thanks

Yeah though so too. The width between the cell slots across the T-bar is 33mm just like the RC10L and RC10L SS chassis
A couple of months ago I was minding my own business at a local car show and then this appeared on a vendors table...............I had no choice but to spend more money on RC, how could I walk away

I just scored an Associated FT RC12L4 and I'm having a hard time finding a steering servo for it that doesn't cost a zillion dollars, can anyone suggest something that'll do the trick without breaking the bank?

Here's an update on my little 12L4.
Went with a Futaba MC601C ESC,only $49 from Tower, nice and compact, has the ability to be programmed and data logged with a PC and handles down to 9 turn motors on 6 cells.
It fit real nice and runs my Reedy KR...
I was wondering what is the standard (US Measurement) Thickness of the RC10L Chassis, and does anyone know the type of Fiberglass used? I am trying to make a replica chassis with a few minor modifications.
Thanks-

Thanks, I will look out for some G10 /FR4 in that strength
As for the T-bar, they vary in thickness depending on what setup you want, and I was looking for the chassis itself. The composite craft T-bar could be a thin, or thick version.
I have a plate that has been extensively machined, and does not look to be a home-brew Special . It looks to machined from a single piece, as the face and ridge have machining marks, and are the same dimensions as a standard AE item. I have attached...

I have seen the machined style that had the bottom portion machined as on the RC12LC. But not like this one
This is my first post on rc10talk. As such I would like to thank all of you for the opportunity to join the discussions here. It's nice to have a common interest like this uniting folks across the globe. I will be browsing from South...

Being that Yokomo and Associated were a Team back in the good old days. I was wondering anyone recall what the original asking prices were for the YRX-10 and YRX-2000 cars were? I know it says 28,000 yen on the YRX-10 box, but I would like to know...
Last post
Yeah I was not sure if they were carried through associated retailers. I have a YRX-10 and am looking for a 2000.
I think this is some sort of RC12 but I'm not sure. It almost looks like an L30 but the chassis and rear upper deck doesn't match. Anybody know for sure what this is?

Composite Craft 12LW oval chassis at least that's my guess. Sheldon's Hobbies has it.
I'm thinking of a conversion kit that I used at one time. I've seen a lot of conversions on here, but I don't remember seeing the one I will attempt to describe. I can't remember the manufacturer or a search would probably yield some results. It was...

I'm just getting back into the hobby after leaving in the late 80's. Back in the late 1970's or early 1980's, I recall buying an rc airplane magazine (that was all they had back then) and seeing a one or two page section they had devoted to rc cars....

Other than the body and wheels and bushings, it looks as though this car could be duplicated in my garage.
I never thought about that before. Just make my own RC1ish car. I'm sure I'd be fine until I tried to run it.

Hi you use the current style rear axle set up. here is a link to one at speedmerchant. but you can get them fro IRS, Associated, CRC. You can use a 1/12L4 rear axle setup. but this link has a picture of all the parts yu need.
Thinking about getting one of these. My question is are there any vintage looking bodies out there for it. They were running these at larry's RC the last time I was there.
