I know there are holes in the list, but we can continue to build on this as we go. It's fairly comprehensive thus far, so hopefully this can help those of you who are looking for the general information on these motors. Feel free to offer...

I had a Ti Modified 7x2 hanging on my wall for 15 years. 2x I installed it into new cars and both times the cars were so incredibly fast that they rolled and tumbled. One broke.
So the motor was just too powerful. I just kept shelving it. I...
A while back I found a cool thread www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=239 started by Scr8p that linked to a timeline Novak had on their website. With Novak updates ending the timeline in 2009, their eventual closure, and wayback links as the only...

Thanks for clearing up the questions I had for a long time now, with this post.
Futaba used to offer these two spec lists for their older discontinued receivers and servos. Now they're only available through the Internet Archives site. That's a bit of a pain. So I decided to edit them a bit, and post them here for easier...

I see that R142JE is called out in the manual. Somehow I muat have gotten confused about the 152 superseding the 142. Thanks for the measurements.
20 does sound like a good starting point. Just making sure 23 isn't more common.
I have had this Futaba 3PJS for over 24 years now. The 3PJS base model can store up to (8) cars.
Never thought that I would have more than (8) models to bind this to, but recently my collection came to a total of (9) vintage and reissue cars....

Interesting behavior on the Futaba 3PV, but it is FHSS/S-FHSS/T-FHSS, and a much newer Tx.
I'm still in the nostalgia phase of this hobby, and am using a 24 year old Tx that originally came with 27 MHz FM, because that's what I used with the old...
I got a result and managed to pick up a set of nip 1001 servo gears. I have 2 servos out of action because of gears, so now have another one up and running.
Happy days.
These came in a lot I purchased about a year ago. One is the speedworks oval and the other is the speedworks 427. They both seem like they were never used and I was thinking about using one in a build im doing most likely a truck as I am a truck...

If it matters to you, the specs are as follows...
The 427 motor is a 16X2 suited for 4WD with an RPM of 36,000.
The Dirt Oval motor is a 24X1 suited for 2WD Or 4WD with an RPM of 25,200.
Thanks! I was planning on putting it in a blackfoot...
Hi guys, recently I've purchased a pair of Peak brushed motors but I don't know anything about them. I've seen there were Peak Performace, Peak Racing and then Peak in the good old days is it the same brand?
Last post
If you check out new in the package 'Peak' motors, you'll see they give the company as Peak Performance on the back of the header cards. So they're one and the same.
From what I've found, the one you have seems to be a 15x3.
Looking for an ID and specs on this old fantom motor. Its been in a box for years. installed it in my rc10ce a while back and ran it a few times. car seems to move really well with it. just curious what this is. In the last pic, its says ROAR 91 on...

Hi all, I recently picked up a vintage Futaba Magnum 1024 FP-T3PB PCM radio. I just had a few questions regarding crystals and module regarding this radio. Is someone able to help me out with these?
- Do I get single or dual conversion crystals for...

If you can find a spektrum module for it you can use 2.4 unless you want to keep it original.
Thats what I have done with me Fut 3VCS. love this radio and now its 2.4 its brought it back to life.
The only problem is I have to use DSM rx only...
Hi folks,
I have an Nosram Timeout discharger. I wonder if anybody knows why there are 3 leads on the input?
They are red,black and blue.
I use it sometimes just using the red and black, but I wonder what the blue was for?
Was it for saddle packs?
Thread dedicated to the wonderful motors of Nick Adams (RIP) of Demon Power Products.

As soon as I touch the wires to the motor it starts spinning at full speed. The battery is plugged in, switch on, and throttle is not being pulled. Am I just switching the motor and battery wires or is something else happening?

Thanks! The manual was helpful. Took a couple tries but I got it working.
I'm throwing this together at the request of another member. This is just some of the stuff that I do, so take it for what it is. If someone has any ideas to add, please do so.
I rummaged through my stuff and found this crusty Peak Racing 12X2. It...
I've had this about eleven years now. This is the Pro hand wound version of the Spec 19 motor. These Quad Mag motors are really smooth to turn over by hand.

So, mADMan had been looking for some replacement foam wheel grips for his Sanwa MT-4. I did a bit of poking around and thought I'd post what I found here for anyone that needs to replace the foam grip on their transmitter (Futaba, maybe?) but cannot...
Always regretted selling my old FP-T3PB, Finally managed to grab an absolute mint condition one in Japan.

Hi
I have a new old Futaba T2PHKA radio that draws an impressive 230mA from 8x batteries.
The radio includes a socket on the rear that looks like it should be for plug in 12V. That doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone know what the socket is for?

According to the manual, the transmitter needs a 12VDC supply.
Reducing the power supply reduces the measured RF output.
Alkaline batteries have a higher voltage than equivalent nicd and nimh cells. The charger is designed around it's intended...

After reading the Son of Psycho thread I thought I'd share a picture of this motor that has been in my collection for eleven years now. It is very pink, especially when viewed in person.

Some of you may have read this, but I found it when searching for a 410K manual online. I was out of RC from 1995 and didnt get back into it until roughly 2006. I always wondered what happend to Tekin. The only other thing I'm curious as to what...

I have got to add the CX-1 from KO Propo inside the 1987 winning 4WD Schumacher Cat buggy driven by Masami. Very modern and sleek design even by today's standards.
This Speed Gems Diamond 12x2 motor looks like it might have caught fire. I've had a couple of armatures with rough comms clean up nicely with some comm lathe resurfacing. This one will be interesting to find out how extensive the damage is.

I am looking at a bunch of vintage ESCs, but most of them date back to the 1984/1985ish era, and I am looking for something appropriate for a 1980 rig. I guess 1st question would be, were there any mass produced, quality ESCs out at that time? Was...

it's really 41MHz have a sticker on the remote.
It's working too with 40MHz set crystal?
I'm missing an era correct Tx/Rx for a recent RC10gt build.

We all miss a timeline for Tekin ESC's and others.
