With the amount of these that are being purchased, there will be a flood of build threads coming. We don't want the new car to bury the o.g. new builds, replicas, restorations, etc., that already take place in our buggy forum. So the best thing to...
For some reason I was content to watch everyone else build theirs when these first got into our greedy little paws, but didn't feel the motivation to start mine! I also waited for a few of the hop up parts I wanted for it and the painted body and...

Great work!, came together nicely, paint is awesome!
I'm looking for opinions on which tranny would work best for my re-re World's car this spring. My local track isn't huge and somewhat technical, but I've heard the owner will be making it larger this season. It's a fiarly high-traction track with...
Trying to determine for the electronics of the car.

Hi,
I wish someone had told me, about the 8.5 turn brushless limit.
well, if you had read the manual, it is there in print. This was just a recommendation, if you choose to exceed it then fine! Its not a rule. The gears are not meant to...
I broke down and bought the Worlds kit. I was going to go with the mono shock up front that I got from Jeff (Thanks Again! :D ) but after mocking it up, realized the front tube supports were going to be in the way and not having them on their just...

Finally after over a month of waiting AE sent me replacement parts! :D
They actually sent me two top shafts too. Not sure why but I will take it.
Case part # 6565-001
Idler shaft and gear part # 6570-001
Top Shaft B4/T4 part # 9601
Does anyone know for fact if this is gonna happen?? Will it be molded in white or black? Thanks for any info.

Yes, but as I showed in my video the idler is most of the problem
FYI, there is a guy that is making a replacement Idled gear for the new China stealth transmissions. The gears are aluminum and worked great in the tranny. It's a lot...
HI!... Just picked up this Team Associated RC10 World's car (re/re).

Looks good but i would switch out the front axles to the 6220 rc10 axles with those wheels since they are a different offset than the kit front wheels.
Is AE doing any more re re's of the cars or 10T?
I see Tower has discontinued the stealth tranny and no longer has the Worlds car on the site.
I was hoping for a re re graphite and 10T.
Any one in the know?

I would buy 2 sets of rear DS arms if they re-re'd them. :P
thanks for accepting me in the forum. I write from Milano, Italy. I would liked to ask your help:
I bought the RC10 classic re-release. Can you please suggest me the list of components ( Motor, esc, servo, batteries) that you think that...
Finally got around to it, as I just couldn't pass on one at $199 shipped from AE.
Decided to leave the chassis stock for now, see how it does. Opted for one of Atomik Racing's HD1207TG servos, as I've found this product line to be excellent...
A good friend of mine who's into off-road racing convinced me to get a car together for a local track on October 11th. Since I've had my World's Re-re collecting dust since I bought the kit, I decided to give it a shot. I've never raced off-road...

Thats it. The stock worlds case has a different part number (6564)
6565 is old moulding USA case
6564 is new improved China case
Now that the anodized parts for my ReRe projects are in, it's time to get building!
I think I have most of the parts on hand to complete this one except for the new Lunsford Worlds Retro turnbuckles I just ordered and maybe a few other little bits...

what rear shock tower is that I like the wing mounts?
The rear tower is just a short World's 3mm tower from RC Carbon Works. The wing mounts are from the B5M kit (91531).
...The car is gorgeous, very stunning. Love the colors.
Looks good! ...?...
Hey all, this is first post territory, so go easy on me!
I've recently bought an original RC10 (at this stage don't know what stamp it is, will find out when it arrives) and I want to do the shell as per the box art, as those ads in the 80's really...

Excellent, thanks for that Scr8p!
Incidentally, is the pro-line body (available from the AE website) accurate to the original? I know that the classic had different webbing, but considering I'll be cutting that away, its not an issue for me.
It all started with the thread that Cedric did on his replica of Brian Kinwalds 1993 WC car.
I've read that thread over and over again and it's such a beautifu car.
Now with the rere of the world's car I immediately put down a pre-order and waited...
Once the shock bottom cap is tightened the shaft is so misaligned it won't move!
Anyone else run into this?
Hard to get a good photo, but
A link to the video showing the movement

Simple, just remove the shock shaft and orings, run a drill bit thru it, wobbling side to side to clearance it, then reassemble. That's how the (eBay) pros do it  Lmao!
That's probably one of the first shock bodies I have seen misbuilt....
Just picked up a World's Car in the recent discounts. Decided to go with a FT blue screw kit for it. I did end up needing a new top shaft as the one that came with the kit was just not smooth. Here are a few pics of the build so far.
Only have one re-re completed so far and with the little bit of a run going on here with worlds car posts I thought I'd add mine to the mix. Kept it stock except for white wheels, RPM gear cover and Steve's front bumper. My kit also had the bad...

Thanks! Paint was by Larry at Kustom R/C graphics. I was going for a boxart-inspired scheme but not a copy. The final product wasn't exactly what I asked for but I still like it. It's hard to explain in an email every detail so until I make attempts...
Stupid question, has anyone had luck at tightening up the steering on the Worlds I have replaced the bell cranks with JConcepts and replaced the servo horn with a metal horn. I have a metal geared servo (Savox). It turns great, it just seems like it...
I have a worlds re release kit and have pretty much built up as much as I can. I am being sent a replacement top shaft as it was one of the incorrectly machined ones.
That aside the next issue that I have is that none of the servo horns...

I also bought a losi aluminium horn as a replacement should the kit one strip. The kit horn is holding up so far
I never had a chance to upload a pic of my car. So this is my Worlds RE RE. It's a very stock and meant to be a car to race here and there and drive laps at the track. So after driving at the track 5 times I have managed to shear the left bell crank...

Here are a few pics of my RC10 Re-Re runner. Wanted to keep it mostly stock. Only upgrades are JConcepts bellcranks and 2.2 inch wheel conversions. Let me know what you think!

The problem also might be a bad transmission case. I sent my transmission to AE for the same reason and they concluded that the case was the issue. It has been replaced and the transmission is on it's way back.

B44 axles are still too long for use with stock arms and B4 rear hubs, you need a Yokomo Bmax2 rear bone to make a hybrid cva. You'll still need a custom works spacer and B44 front low profile nuts.
She's all done. Mines getting dirty no time for a shelf queen haha!

I snipped off about an inch of the L-shaped key and used it in a small drill pin vice; it made it MUCH easier to get the screws in straight.
