Pic of the original Gpm conversion borrowed from Mini
Once I get it how I want it, I'll see about having the motor plates made from aluminum
This set was done in the spirit of the GPM conversion and thus I haven't done any real engineering just copied what was once produced. I don't see these as a race winning mod or even a betterment over stock, just something fun. There will be some tweaking here and there but for the most part it bolts up and only requires drilling two holes (for the rear shock tower). Apart from that it's easy to convert and convert back to stock. Optima 2016 "Mid" conversion...Gpm style

I haven't updated this in a while
I had Derrick (Durb69) cut the alloy motor plates. He knocked em outta the park! I figured out how to keep the gear cover with very little grinding. I've braced up the right side where GPM left off the bracket. I also added the rear brace to not only tie the hingepins together but also to locate and support the tower when it is relocated.
