WOW, Jeff this car is STUNNING. I've been wanting to build a trailing arm car myself and seeing this car has convinced me to do it.
FWIW, I've always configured my servo links as you have it. It places the link's ball axis in closer proximity or directly over the servo's shaft pivot bearing and perhaps minimizing the torsional loading on the arm and shaft that can contribute to play in the steering system. At least it's a theory.
On a totally unrelated topic... By chance are you able to produce the four-hole version of the 6231 front shock tower in the period correct G10 glass? Reason I ask is that I am completing restoration of an early RC10 Graphite and a mid-production CE and I'm not able to locate these as vintage original parts. There is one posted on ebay now but it's in really rough condition (battered, extra holes, etc.). The six-hole ones are rather common (I have three) but the four-hole version in good shape appears difficult to find. Not sure if this the right place to ask such a question so I just take a chance and hope you are reading this. Can you please let me know? thanks! Now I'll go back and have another look at that awesome C2.1 build.

I have the drawing for the 4 hole and have cut some, the problem I face is getting material that matches properly. Seems every seller has a different shade of green/yellow and I have yet to find any with the proper fiberglass weave showing.

Thanks for the kind words on the 2.1😎 I have a lot of fun building them

Okay, I understand. I have cut my own plate parts in the past and I have some G10 on hand but it's a kinda funky green and doesn't match the original stuff (the original parts were more like early low-quality printed circuit board material). Anyway, my thoughts were, if I can't have original then at least I will ask a professional to cut new parts. So, I'm at strike two and reckon I will give it a try myself. Would you mind terribly to share your dimensioned drawing? If not then that's okay too. Thanks so much for the reply. Cheers!

I usually don’t like to give away files that I’ve spent time drawing up. If you are stuck and cant find one, I can get you a 1:1 pdf

There was a NIP 4 hole tower on ebay not all that long ago, so they're still out there.

Rats, I missed that one. I'll continue to watch ebay for another one. I've always set my ebay search for "rc10". That should suffice, shouldn't it?
Anyway, meanwhile, think I will try reproduce a couple close facsimiles from some photos I found online. Might actually be an interesting challenge. Thanks!

Bottom row is same as 6 hole, and top hole lines up with the 6 hole center as well. Then it’s just the shape of the ears that are changed

Hey, that's right! I found a good photo online that has very little perspective, laid my six-hole directly on my laptop screen over the photo and resized the photo until their sizes match and the holes you mentioned line-up perfectly. Now, I can simply use the old part and the photo to cut a new part. thanks again!!
