'93 Worlds RC10 Starter Kit

Post by scr8p » Sat Mar 11, 2017 12:01 am

I've putting together an all-in-one kit for those that want to get their boxart rere Kinwald cars a little closer to the original, or for those who are looking to make a correct replica. The kit will contain:

1 - Front shock tower in 2.5mm 3k woven cf
1 - Rear shock tower in 2.5mm quasi uni-iridium matte carbon
1 - Stealth trans brace in 2.5mm 3k woven cf
1 - Battery brace in 1/16" matte black fiberglass
12 - Stainless Steel flat head screws for towers and trans brace

I have 2 trans braces that I consider blems. They'll work and everything, but the one has a bit of delamination around one of the countersunk holes (front right outside corner). The other, the back edge of the brace is on a slight angle. These 2 kits I'm discounting $5.00.

$50 + shipping per kit....................... 1 kits available
$45 + shipping per kit (blem).............. 2 kits available

I'd be in for a battery brace. I've built the other three :D

If you only need the battery brace, you should hit up Gomachv. He sells them.

Good chance I'll have these ready to go by the end of next week. There will only be 7 sets available. So get on the list if you don't want to miss out.

Updated first post with pics and info.

6 kits are available. 2 of which have small issues and are offered at a discounted price. Please read about those issues in first post.

I'm going to hold 2 kits for kiohio and Supernaut as they showed interest in purchasing a set. I'll send them each a pm to see if they still want one or if they're gonna pass.

I'm also offering hardware with these kits since a lot of the holes are countersunk. This will make it easier for guys looking to just swap out their original parts. But, I'm still waiting on a box to show up so shipping may be delayed a little bit.

1 nice kit left.

Both blem kits are available. I think I'll open the kits up and take a pic of the 2 trans braces. If need be, I'll discount them a little more just to move them.

OK, here is the blems on brace #1. There is a spot similar on the back left hole too, but I can't get the damn pic to load.

Brace #2. This is the one that is on a slight angle along the back edge and it's into the right rear hole.

I'll do $40 each on the blem kits to move them out if anyone is interested.

All sold except blem kit #1. Not totally sure if I'll have more cut. I kinda thought there would be more interest in these with all of the boxart worlds cars out there. But hey, gotta take a chance.

So if you want one, might be best to not wait.
