Losi Jr. T (eBay bargain)

Post by LosiXXkid »

Just bagged this Losi Junior T at a bargain price from eBay...

It's got a few nice after market parts such as the RPM chassis brace, ESC shelf, front and rear arms plus the JG front body mount....but the shocks don't look to be original.

There's no battery holder and the chassis has been 'nibbled' by the left-hand steering arm but all-in-all, it doesn't look too bad for just under £50 shipped.

Like a kid...I can't wait for it to arrive! :D

Looks fairly clean from the pics - good work! Look forward to the rebuild!

I will most certainly take some additional photo's on receipt before undertaking any sort of tear down and rebuild! And depending on the condition, I might turn this in to a runner.....we'll have to wait and see. :)

You have a set of nice and rare MIP hard teflon coated shocks there!

So you do... when I first saw the photo I just assumed they were later Losi 'hard bodies'! Looks like a real nice truck with some desirable up-grades! I look forward to seeing more photos & build-up stories 8)

I wasn't intending on getting another Losi but it was the chassis brace and the ESC shelf that caught my eye. For 40 Euro's (58 if you include the shipping) I think that I struck a little bit of gold... :D

You can be assured of more photo's and a re-build thread...

The best way to tell the difference is to look at the top part of the shock body and look out for the chamfered top edge which is typical of MIP shocks for Losi. The original Losi hard coated shocks don't have such a chamfer obviously.

Haven't heard from the seller after e-mailing him and the auction is most definitely not marked as shipped..... :( I'm not worried about getting my money back because eBay/ PayPal will see to that......I just hope the seller comes through and meets his side of the deal.....

Right now I know it's too early to say but I am keeping my fingers crossed!
