Re: JRX-T....... finally
little update....
awhile back, aaron hooked me up with everything i needed to convert the rear to the h-arm setup, and got the white sliders from anthony. i used the original rear shocks, but i think i need the longer rears going by the only body off pic i have of the truck (which isn't the best. i also installed the new big ed motor i got from darryn, and the mint used tekin 420f i got from jeff. thanks again guys.
i put together a 7 cell 1400 scr pack for this the other night, using 2 ESP 6 cells packs i've had since the early 90's. tore them down, cleaned them up, and picked out the best 7. i'm not sure if i've arranged them exactly like he ran them, just my best guess going by a not so great pic.

Nice work!! Kudos for having the minerals to solder up the new motor, I can just never do it!

Re: Halsey Jrx-T Replica
i kinda have a problem doing it too. but, there was already solder on both terminals (capacitor on one side, brush shunt wire on the other) so i made it easier.

i have to make a rear spoiler for the body yet, and still need a few autographics #1's.

Re: Halsey Jrx-T Replica
I didn't even realize Jay was still racing with losi by the time we got to the LXT... He kind of faded away form the scene gracefully I guess...

Re: Halsey Jrx-T Replica
another update.....
thanks to kent, i got some of those elusive #1 autographics numbers. thanks again kent.
i also fabbed up and attached the rear spolier. so all i got left is to trim and attach the gear cover, and get the correct receiver.

Re: Halsey Jrx-T Replica
i'm pretty sure it's an airtronics with the red strip on it. i don't know if that designates FM or...... something. i've never been an airtronics guy.
