A couple of Lunsford titanium goodies arrived this week, firstly some turnbuckles (thanks Aaron!) but also some king pins, something I did not know existed and just happened upon them when looking on the Lunsford site. These will go nicely with my shiny CVDs and once I get the money together for a full screw kit 8) :D

Thanks Dans!

Yes, the screw kit is very expensive, but worthy for this build I think. Ive seen them on Cedric's XX4 replica and they look awesome. This is the last of the 'jamin' builds, so hoping to go out with a boom!

Only one more build planned after this, gonna try my hand at a replica Kinwald XXT.

Started fitting up the heavy metal shell last night, not terribly impressed with the position of the arches, they seem to far back so the wheels sit very close up front, and with the way the rear is mounted there isn't much you can do about it.

Anyway, its looking quite cool, I've slammed it as close to the tyres as possible - it'll never get run so no problem!

Cant wait to get this and the buggy shell painted up together :D 8)

This little lot arrived yesterday - titanium screw kit! A big thank you to Aaron for ordering them for me and shipping them over, saves me $40 in postage - insane!!

I didn't actually get the XX4 screw kit as the list of sizes didn't quite work out with the sizes shown in the manual, plus there were a few screws I didn't need and it ended up being cheaper to order them separately. Cant wait to get these shiny pieces on the car :D 8)

I don't have any pics just yet, but this project is looking good! I've sprayed the shell this week and only need to paint the blue frames and thats done.

I have the 'piece de resistance' on its way from Aaron as I type, I am super excited to be able to fit a NIP MK1 Graphite chassis to this project :D :D

Hehehe! Maybe I'll upload a pic of its present guise until I get time to finish the shell and by that time the new chassis may have arrived.

The only problem is that I've gone for the original release look, apart from the shocks: I just had to fit threaded bodies and Trinity collars to one of my builds, the XX4 seemed the most appropriate :D

Bit of 'blue' for dad! ...... you just can't help adding the Trinity parts lol! I suppose anyone that had owned their original spec XX4 for a couple of years could have seen the threaded shocks & thought they'd upgrade??

Its arrived, oh yesssssss!!! A massive thanks to Aaron (aip47-2008) for hooking me up with this. In fact he's been instrumental in a lot of the parts on this car, cheers Aaron :D

Gonna get this fitted up this week, soooo close to being done!
