In USA they were introduced around 430-450 dollars. Some folks managed to get 500 early on. I held off buying one because I dont like getting screwed on these kind of things just because the market allows it. Obviously there is still profit at 299.00.

Didnt know about the 2.0 version. Just googled it. Surprising that it can be had for cheaper than the first version was when new.

Funny how 1/10 4wd is evolving to more closely replicate 1/8 nitro designs. I would like to see a top level race. The speed must be amazing.

Perhaps this is another important evolutionary step in 4wd ep rc buggy design. Hard alloy chassis, heavy duty gear diffs. Bmax4 III and 22-4 2.0 are there, is anybody else doing those things too? Back in the day an alloy chassis and gear diff meant el cheapo. With newer hard alloys and 1/8 style diffs, its a totally different story.

I may have to get one to compliment my XX-4. That's a good price.

Well if other markets are like around Rochester MN, serious outdoor off-road RC racing is about close to dead as you can get. I would love to get one, but would have nobody to race against. We are lucky to get 5 people to show up anymore at my local track.

Ive seen them at 269 recently. If I could get rid of 2 more cars,, Ide buy both an optima and 22-4 at 269 each.
