I don't think that the passing years have dated it one bit!

Re: NIB Losi XX CR Kinwald Build
A couple more pictures with the body. I am using a TBG body for now, and will keep the original body un-cut.
These photos are really washing out the colors, but what can I do?

I wish I was still as good looking as my 1990's self. In my head I am, but the mirror does not agree

Thanks!
I finally found a Trinity D2 motor, and got it installed. Looks right at home in this car. Still on the hunt for the rest of the electronics on the box art. To be continued...

This is awesome, great to see so many pics/progress of such an iconic car! I'm also lucky enough to have one NIB - one day I'll crack it open

I totally envy you on your build. I built one of these as well and that was an awesome buggy. I wish I still had it but as is right now I still have my XXTcr Graphite Plus but having issues finding parts to rebuild the differential on it.
Enjoy your build and love seeing the photos.

Re: NIB Losi XX CR Kinwald Build
I got another large piece of the puzzle completed. I finally found a mint, correct Novak Cyclone esc that matches the box art. The D2 motor and now this esc were the hardest pieces for me to find in new/mint condition. Now I just need the Novak Mercury receiver, servo, and paint. I want the electronics and paint to match the box art.
This buggy has been sitting in the closet for a few months. I nearly forgot how cool it is.

Re: NIB Losi XX CR Kinwald Build
I have been sitting on these 2 upgrades for awhile now, and finally am getting around to installing them.
I am thinking of changing the silver transmission brace for a Trinity blue item. I used the silver because it matches the front silver Jammin unit up front.
I would like to find some anodized gold e-clips (large ones) and nyloc nuts like Kinwald used on his car BITD. Anyone know where to find such items?

Re: NIB Losi XX CR Kinwald Build
Thanks! I actually have those exact nuts, but I assumed they were too orange, not enough gold. I will have to take another look. Maybe they vary in color from batch to batch.LosiXXkid wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 6:37 pmHere are the gold 4-40 mini nyloc nuts (Part # A6306):lavigna wrote: ↑Fri Apr 27, 2018 5:27 pm I have been sitting on these 2 upgrades for awhile now, and finally am getting around to installing them.
