Schumacher Timeline

Post by Synergy »

Can someone help me with a Schumacher timeline? I only really need to know the release dates for the alloy tub 2wds and the glass fiber (I'm guessing they're glass fiber) chassis cars like the original CAT.

Thanks for the link MrLexan, what I'm trying to do is get a list of applicable Schumachers for the Vintage Schumacher SIG much like the list for the Vintage Losi SIG. I want to cover all alloy tub 2WD cars and 4WDs up to the Pro Cat (which I'm pretty sure was a late 1989 early 1990 release) I just don't know them all, I get a bit lost after original Cat, Cat XL, Cat XLS, Pro Cat, Top Cat and Cougar I'm sure there are more :?

Actually the first Schumacher 2wd, was the (T402) 2wd version of the XL Cat. :)

All the early CAT's were released with the white fibreglass chassis plates and shock towers up until the Bosscat (sport I think). The Procat SE was a last minute release from what I can tell. It had the C/F chassis, dark green PRO shocks,23mm PRO diffs and 2.2inch 'AERODISC' rims much like the Bosscat's to be honest. I have a rare factory Procat race car from a former team member and it has the belt over the top of the chassis. You dont see many of these around though.

Hi Guys,

First post on this forum :P

Jasons right about the Procat SE, I think, as there isn't that much info about it. Early Bosscats used white fibreglass chassis and share a lot of 'common' parts with the XLS, Procat. So I would add the Bosscat to the highlighted cars.

Good to see you here James. The Procat SE I think may have even been released after the first of the Bosscat's or around their conception. They are possibly the sweetest looking of all the old Schuey 4WD's in my opinion. I love the Procat body,C/F chassis componants and the 2.2 aero disc wheels. Just sexy!

Now if we had pictures of each, that would be cool! I just picked up 2 Procats, can't wait to try one.
