the RC10 was not that great at all , only in the hands off TEAM drivers at the time , which still are one off the best drivers in world.

Thanks for the comments guys, I will post some more pictures of it when it arrives (it's coming home from Canada ) I think I paid the right price for it, anyone who is seriously looking for one of these knows how rare they are especially in this condition with all the bits (box, stickers, new shell etc.) so I think it was a great find and I have jeroen206 to thank for that as he pointed me in it's direction
As for what was best (RC10/ JRX2/ TopCat/ Ultima) for me it doesn't really matter they're all rc history and they all made a difference one way or another

Always loved that pushrod/rocker arm front suspension on that car. Beautiful find, for sure. That's a very clean example.
NICE!

No, it's off road tracks without jumps.

then how was the TopCat back then? Only running good in super-expert drivers from outer space

When I was asking around back in the days why nobody ran Shum in our club, they told me the Shumies were real good, but too fragile.
You needed lots of spare parts they said and availbility was real poor around where we lived.
Tamiya and kyosho was all you could find, but then one guy started getting stuff in from Holland and got everybody (well except for me) on Asso. I think he made a nice little extra on the side for years.

was the top cat the one with the belt drive transmission? somebody used to run one at our track years ago and dominated the stock class. we were not alowed to run belt drives unless it came with the kit originally, the next thing ya know everybody had them. wich models came with belt drives i cant remember, i know theymade a truck with one too.
