Mr. ED wrote:LOL, seems I forgot to post the pics of the 2nd YR-4. It's all in pieces now and not th reason I dug out this old thread.

The real reason is I've ben racing this touringcar regularly and made a couple updates again today. Tomorrow's another race and I decided to take a picture with the new lid before it gets wrecked.
The shell is from East Coast Bodies, forgot the model name. (It came with the flames pre-printed)

I was bored of the eternal background of our hardwoodfloor or terrace which have decorated toooo many of my pics oer the past year. How do you like the new concept?

I saw a picture of the speedmind wheels and noticed they have a speedmind logo embedded inthem.
So rather than going through the labels i checked the wheels and found.. a different logo embedded. Kinda modern design which I think stands for rj.
Any story behind the question?

I also found decals for it and actually put them on the bay: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300251997342&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=020. Simply PM me if you are interested in them, too.

Thanks for the offering but I have plenty standard stock parts plus optional carbon and anodized parts plus the roiginal honda body with accesoires and decals. The only thing it misses is good driver still ;)

To anyone driving or wanting to drive a vintage YR-4: invest in a pair of 3 degrees toe-in rear uprights of the TA-05!
They are a direct fit with 2.5 mm spacer
I got the blue alu ones from 3 racing and o-my, how gentle and smooth it handles now. I used to have all kinds of troubles to keep the car going straight or not spinning out on exiting corners with the 0 degree original hubs. Kinda spoiled the fun for almost a year

I'm here from your post on my thread. I see your motor block looks almost identical to mine without the removable motor plate. I was a little unsure of the manufacturer of mine. Thought it was an old GPM part but I could be wrong. Who made yours? My bet is they are from the same manufacturer.
They asked me what I was thinking!? I simply told them... I wasn't.

I got the car second hand with the part already mounted. I think Kose or team suzuki could be the manufacturer. But liquid rc had a gpm one on their site for a long time. No picture though, so I never took the plunge.

Thanks Mr. ED. I've been trying to remember for years where I got it from. I'll definitely check those manufacturers. The search continues. :)
