Yes, Mrlexan did repro the Funco version before but I think this mold is now with the Sabula Tech and I've not heard of them producing any bodies as yet.

Thanks for the info on the body but from the picture below it looks to be the body that was included in the kit, yes this is the one that sold on ebay and after a lot off back and forth and several emails (so hard to communicate with some one who doesn't speak english) i ended up paying $450 posted to Australia Using 5 day express mail service which cost about $60, and i was lucky that ebay is having that valentine day deal were there is 10% off every purchase you buy at the moment, so $405 To Australia didnt seem to bad it puts the actual buggy at $345 which is still alot of coin but i finally got frustrated waiting for a good original one to turn up.

Yes the body on your car is the correct one with the 2 scoops and for that price you did pretty good.

I was wondering who bought that. I was watching it since it was listed and I kept waffling if I wanted it. Did you try to offer a lower price? I was contemplating a lower offer but then it was gone! Good luck with the restoration. You did what I was going to do with the other parts lot also

Actually, your price seems pretty good for all the extra options.

Which options are you referring to, the buggy or the parts lot.

It´s to keep the trailing arm from snapping. The dogbone "catches" the arm when the wheel is hit on the out side, but from the inside there´s no other support than either a tie-wrap or the bent wire.

The wire keeps the arms from flexing apart and you losing a dogbone. Sometimes it was so bad, you'd paint your dogbone a fluorescent color so you could find it in the dirt later
