Not vintage.. Yokomo's

Post by bully »

My chances of finding any RC10's with race heritage from quick drivers are slim so when my mate was selling these for cheap I couldn't resist  Couple of quick pics, I had Josh sign various bits an pieces from each and am just waiting on one of the bodies,a set of wheels and tyres from the worlds. And a setup sheet from each buggy, should have them soon hopefully.. Hope you like

Very interesting. Is there a sharing of some parts between the bmax 2 and yz2?

Not up on the new kits really. Don't quote me on this but before the YZ-2 dirt edition people were running the YZ2 with the BMAX2MR rear end, I seem to remember the name YMAX being used  Apart from that I have not had a real good look at the BMAX2MR,have drooled over the YZ for a while now though.. The BMAX2MR came with four or five different chassis, after Josh gets back from the Vic states we are going to catch up again I'll try an get some more info about uses of each, interchangeability etc.. :D

Im just curious really. The 870c-93 models all shared many parts,, then the 93 wcs through 97 models shared a bunch of parts,,, then everything got weird. mr4 and mx4 share parts,, but mr4bx shoots off to another tangent,, and I dont think bmax 4wd is even slightly related to mr4bx... So, just wondering if modern yokomo shares the tradition of sharing parts with previous models.

Sure is an interesting layout for 2wd buggy. I wonder if modern 2wd is easier to drive than older models.

Nice, a mate does well with his Bmax 4iii , and Bm2- He's just got a YZ2 D. His cars are usually setup similar to Josh's
