KO Propo PS-1001 Servo YZ10

Post by eco8gator »

Hello All

I am in process to putting together my shelf queen 94 YZ10. So far I have a super mint box art 94 YZ10 and Novak 410-HPc. I decided to use an Orion SV2 BB 10x2 since the angled brushes look cool but I may switch to the Reedy 10x2 motor later and if I can find one.

For those that have used the PS-1001, how did it perform and how well did it hold up to the abuse of of road driving. I see it's an analog servo, how well did the servo center?

Regards

Hi there

I remember them being great 20 odd years ago as they were the best around but probably very ordinary by todays standards but if your just doing some mild vintage running you might get away with it but if you can find the metal gear set it would be much more reliable.

Curious, how do the JR NES-1001 compare to the KO Propo PS-1001?

They are similarly as old. The obvious difference is the JR does not have the 4th wire; I was wondering if the servo was the same but ran on a 6v bus.

Thanks
