MK-II was my first gas gar, still remember using the zip starter for the first time. I ripped it around and couldn't believe how cool this gas car stuff was. Then I blew the spur, and had to wait for Tower to get me the new gear. The wait was SOOOOO painful. Loctite from that day on!

Ya I remember when we got my buddies MKII running we thought it was the coolest thing on 4 wheels! I used to love nitro, till brushless and lipos came out. You get better power and speed without the mess and headache. I ran my nitro motor the other day and I said ...."damn what a pain in the butt I wonder if I can make a motor mount to hold a brushless motor in this MKII" I thought about painting mine yellow with the blue decals, I think I remember one of the Optimas Mids where always shown like that and I thought it looked cool. I dunno yet I may stick with box art for this Stinger? Maybe a second body and decals are in order?

Ok Dennis, you can stop giving me a hard time about my wheel and tire choice, look what I have on the way now! But the HPI wheels and tires are still gonna be left on for running. These will be for shelf duty only.
