Nice price on those decals but the '5' looks off on the ones for the original optima. Looks like neither the originals nor the box art.

Oh yeah, update on this thread. The TBG body looks good, and there are faint trim lines too. So far they are holding up well and the gloss is nice. The belt covers are nice too and don't seem brittle like marwans.
I still have to paint my ZX body, lets see how it goes.
Oh yes, the KAMTEC undertray for my LWB mid is excellent. It has outlasted my Marwan tray three times over, and still hasn't shown any signs of wear.

Yep.

That's why his shop is shut while he does this and make room to store all the bodies.

He sold over 200 just after X Mass and had to shut the shop down as he ran out of Lexan.

The new Vucume forming machine is giving excellent results & all...

I have been looking for a SWB Optima Mid undertray online and cant seem to find anything, does anyone make one.

I know the SWB Mid never came with an undertray from new but a friend 20 years ago once bought a secondhand Mid and it had an undertray...

How do you guys install the undertray on the Optima Mid series? I have manuals for both the regular Mid and the Turbo SE, neither of which shows an undertray, so I assume it's an aftermarket part. Anyway, I'd prefer to avoid using screws to install...

keep in mind undertrays protect from dirt to some extent, but when dirt and moisture make it in, they then stay in....

even on modern cars (b44 for instance) undertrays are a pain to attach... stick to double sided tape (pun intended) and tape to...

Okay, picked up an Optima Mid, pretty rough body.
Is there any other bodies that will fit?
I do have some older bodies from the 80's new in bags.

Hi too all
Just a quick question about how to repair a cracked body and also what other body can i adapt for this car.

My marwan lwb opt mid body and tray fit fine. I messed up by using a lazer type rear shock tower which made the rear clearance funky,, but other than that,, the tray lined up fine with the holes on chassis, and body fit fine.

well i had a gold celebration chassis car built to run but dismantled it to put the TBG chassis set on her. it all went together good except for the rear shock mount and long screw n bolt he provides for the motor plates...

No, that body shouldn't exist in the wild. The bubble in the side window is to clear the MSC fitted to the Mid. The only time you'll see a Kyosho body without the bubble is in preproduction images.
