aftermarket optima mid??

Can anybody identify this upper deck? Its apparently from an optima mid. The carbon piece is my repro. Trying to ID the white one. Dosent look like an jg,, but it might be cut, slimmed down?

I'm slowly collecting parts to build a mid with as many vintage hop-ups as possible and so far don't have any shocks for it, however I don't really know what aftermarket shocks there were back in the day. The only thing I can think of is Trinity...

I am an RC10 guy, but always liked the Ultima and Optima series that Kyosho produced. I don't know much about them though. I always wanted a 4wd buggy since the later 80s, but never did end up with one.

i recently bought this front bracket piece off of ebay from some guy in korea who is making the parts at his work i guess.just want to say the part works real well.i did haggle him down to 30 shipped though...

It occurred to me that I could probably build a complete Turbo Optima (maybe even 2) with all the spare parts I have. The only things I'd be questionable on are all the various screws, nuts & bolts, and a set of shocks. Are there any aftermarket...

I used a RC Screwz set with my Ultima restoration and they were fine. Just get a nice set of full size individual allen wrenches - makes it so much nicer.

Okay, I've seen some aftermarket A-arms for the Optima that were extended length, for use in a monster truck application...but does anyone know if any company made shortened A-arms & shafts, for on-road use for example?

The stock Optima front...

While I have been busy getting my latest MID up and running i remember i bought these option parts when i was racing my T/Optima than MID.

The one way was very expensive in it's day. Around 125.00 i think. A weeks wages. It's made by SRM and fits...
