Yep, Ultima chassis, actually the Ultima 2 and Turbo.

Turbo has the 3mm thick version of the kinda U-profile ultima chassis. You should know that Jay: you traded me one

Honestly I don't have all my variations of Ultimas straight in my head. There is just too much info to store up there. Can't be the expert of everything.

actually you got me looking at the pic closer, and this is somewhat of a homebrew: shockstays are the original alu ones from the first ultima. Chassis and top-plate look like the ones from the outlaw (and turbo 2?)
I had an opel vectra on ultima base : it used more of a bathtubstyle chassis and nylon (?) shockstays. That chassis gave it a longer wheelbase than these 3: original , pro and turbo chassis'. The pictured kelron chasis would probably be about the same wheelbase I think.

That's a stock Kyosho on road version of the Ultima II, looking at the wheels it was the Testarossa. It uses the original Ultima shock mounts to fit the body mounts to the chassis. The plastic versions of the Kyosho gold shocks were fitted, the rear shocks leaned in and bolted to the body mount support. The body mount plate was different depending on which body was mounted. The chassis should look like this when complete. This is the Countach version, the only difference is the wheels. Attachment:

Do you think that a Ford GT ( GT40) body will fit? Not too low? Just got some sky blue and orange paint to give it the gulf look.

So the opel calibra and these 2 used different chasisses. Sorry, I didn't know that. This actually looks way cooler than the black plastic tub.

OOPS I meant Opel Calibra. The chassis is identical to the one in this link: viewtopic.php?p=28618#p28618
