I asked around my lhs and it seems he can get me a good deal on the scorpion re re.
so i was wondering ..this question to those of you who bought and ran it. Could it take the power of a 10.5 brushless ? Are spurs easy to get. is it possible to use modern rims and tyres ?
If there are any points that i should know ..for some one who intends to race it against modern cars..winning or losing does not matter to me
i just wanna finish racing in one piece.. let me know.

Chassis rails are still probably the weakest structural point of the car and won't hold up for long on modern track jumps.
My other major concern though would be the Scorpion's driveability at the speed of a 10.5T brushless. The Scorpion was nimble for it's time but a 4 trailing arm suspension layout is going to be pretty rough to keep under control at modern speeds. You may even end up causing other drivers lots of grief if you don't have enough driving talent.
